What do you guys use when making sugar flowers to shape them in a cup shape???? I mean like a special mat, just no idea what one is called so can't find one anywhere! HELP!

yes coffee and chocolate! and very yummy they are indeed!! cant upload piccy internet is very slow!!

i do them 2 ways! lol sometimes i use fresh black coffee and cocoa powder into cake mix and then same for buttercream but today i made chocolate sponge muffins and rose swirled coffee buttercream onto them with a chocolate heart

Who was it that saw all the new cake stuff in Sainsburys?
Went in ours today and nearly all of it had sold out....can anyone tell me what kind of sprinkles they do and what their cake boxes are like?

That was me hun.It was all a 3rd off

Umm cake boxes were 6's and sprinkles were white chocy stars.Purple and pink mini elephants.pink mini glitter,daisy wafers which are fab,giant choc stars,mini flowers to name a few.

they did gel icing in glittery colours and a whole new kids baking range.Polka dot cup cake cases and muffin cases.

this is a bit of my stash i will be going back to buy more.They did have cake boards and tins to.i'll do a list when i go

And the wafer flowers on a carrot cake i made x

I was thinking earlier Morrisons and Asda (i think as we don't have one on the Island) and now sainsburys have their own quite large range of cake decorations but Tesco don't.
Really would have thought they would...maybe they will soon?

they also have stocked the throw away cardboard cupcake stands too.. nicer than the morrissons ones. blue or pink.. polka dot ones. theyre so cute!

didnt see the elephants.. tho they were only just stocking the shelf with the new delivery when i got there.

Mylos christening went well.. cupcakes and giant one were a hit! did 36 of three different sizes under neath the giant one at the top.
now my mate has her sons christening at end of august and decided to do the same.. so as a gift i opted to do it for her. they'll be lots of kids so will do more mini ones. )

everyone loved the christening cake I did too!

all went well.. loving the compliments they were getting.. and they disappeared so fast that i didnt even get to eat the largest size that had marbled blue sponge in.. I wanted to take a pic! grrrr
