BUT haven't a clue how to make them stand up like on that picture.Just tried doing it with one really gently and it just snaps in half....

you could use some flower wire..........

strange how they are breaking so easily though, are you adding them to your cupcakes while your buttercream is still soft?

yeah...add your buttercream ....wait till its set and then add a very small amount of water to the base of the butterfly and then add it to the top of the buttercream....the moisture/fat in the buttercream can make fondant/gumpaste etc start to melt a little xx

I made a cow last night! Wasn't too bad I dont think haha!! First time I've ever made one, need to do a bit more work on the ears and the face I think but the legs body arms and head I think I done quite well

I have got my mum on a mission to make Noah a duck cake for his birthday! She made me all sorts as a kid! I made a Thomas ake for step son when e was 4 but it was a bit rough around the edges!
I would love to have the time to bake but my oven doesn't cook evenly! It's a nightmare!

ha ha my mums oven was like that.....one cake would come out ok, the second would come out the total opposite!! what setting do u usually use?

I have just started on the Hello Kitty Cake, done the cake board, making a bow and cutting out letters!
So tomorrow when I actually come to make and decorate it, it shouldnt be too stressfull! (hopefully!)
