calling for "Easily conceived baby 1 BUT ttc#2 in taking longer"....

Hello ladies I am just browsing though the different topics and found this one to be interesting.... I am ttc have been Since I got off implannon in January '12 in February I got my first BFP but then it turned out to be a chemical pregnancy... Since then I have been getting my AF every month my cycles range from 21days until May I was 3days late and so my cycle changed to 24days.. Now for the month of June I was supposed to start yesterday but I didn't start til today.. And it was dark brown discharge in the morning and now sort of pink but still fairly regular all I am wearing is a pad and when I wipe it is pink/brown (sorry if tmi) could I possibly be pregnant? I have been really tired during the day but can't sleep at night also I have a 2year old son who now wants nothing to do with me it breaks my heart!! I'm having slight cramps and really bad back pain... Is it possible that in just having a miscarriage or something I have no idea what's going on with my body please help!

gavinsmom - do you have a HPT you can take? If not maybe get one or get to the dr so they can check you out. I can't remember what my implantation bleeding was like but it was very brief, a small amount of red-brown when I wiped once however some people get a few days of it. Its worth a check. Cramping can also be a pregnancy sign.

No news from me, negative opks but may have missed my surge so guess its just a waiting game.

Yes I planned on taking a test once all the discharge stops completely... It's still slightly brown but turning dark red I'm thinking it's just AF.since the flow seems somewhat light-reg :( not heavy enough for a pad I've just been using a liner.... I hate periods so much every month it comes I get so depressed lol good luck to ya and thanks for you help!!! I'll post later with my results if I test I'm just afraid to get a BFN

Hi ladies, I'm on cycle 6 of trying for no 2, dd was conceived on cycle 3 of TTC. We didn't try as hard the first few months... Back in march was 5 days late and had symptoms but BFN's... This month we definitely covered all bases, so fingers crossed! I really hope it works this month because due to circumstances we will have to take a break after next month, and not sure how long until we will be in a position to start trying again... I'll be 34 in October and really want 3 years age gap between baby and DD?
Good luck to us all! X

hope it's your month Lou when do you test?

gavinsmom-i'm not sure it does sound confusing, fingers crossed you get your bfp

wanting - what were they testing for?

I saw my gp, she is sending me for blood tests for pcos and other hormones (but can't remember what), she said because DH & I have proven compatability it makes sense too. I have to go on cd21 which will be my next cycle as I was cd 30 when I want to see her. There is a chance cd21 will be when i'm on holiday :dohh: So I am pleased it's being investigated but worrying like mad about it aswell

Has anyone told family or friends that you are ttc?

We haven't yet, mainly because last time we were ttc (about a year ago we ttc'd fro a few months but had to stop) every time I saw my mum she kept asking if i'd had a positive ovulation test, in the end I was like mum you do realise your asking me if I had sex last night?!?! she stopped after that :haha:

DH really doesn't want tell anyone, which I agreed with. But now it's taking longer, i'm going for tests etc, I could do with the extra support. Although we both said we didn't want to tell anyone once we do get pregnant until we've told dd, which we don't want to do until after the 12 week scan just incase. So if I tell my mum were ttc, it'd be difficult to wait until 12 weeks to tell her. Or am I really overthinking this?

this is us!

DS - once (literally had sex once!)
MC - 1st month

ttc#2 since november!! :(

just getting me down at the min x

You tell me!! *hugs!*

We had our daughter on our first try too! It was that easy. We weren't even planning too. I even jokingly told my fiance at that time now my husband, to go half-half.

Bam! I was pregnant.

When trying for our number 2, we had on our first try too....but end up being a m/c :'(

Now it is our 6th cycle of trying!!! :'( I had my first round of 50mg clomid & already for a fertility specialist if I get my AF this Saturday. I plan on having them monitor me.

Baby dust to you all!!! <3

I'm on cycle 7 of TTC #2. DD was conceived our 2nd month of trying and the first month with good timing (even that was something like 4 days before I ovulated, I was charting then, I had been charting over a year before that TTA so I was pretty good at charting and timing then, we just did it that once in my fertile period, and bang! pregnant!).

I went for day 3 bloodwork yesterday but don't know the results yet. We also have the problem that DH's doctor put him on testosterone replacement therapy, and he was on it 3 years. If I hadn't been researching on the internet, he would still be on it! His dumb doctor never bothered to mention that TRT is so BAD for sperm! I know DH had low testosterone when DD was conceived, but he wasn't medicated for it then so I'd assume his sperm counts were fine. Anyway, DH has only been off that stuff about a month, I don't know how long it will take his counts to recoup from the TRT.

marieb...goodluck! I hope this is the month for you!

wanting2more...awww, I hope nothing serious is going on too! Goodluck with your test result.

I just got my 7dpo progesterone result back few days ago and it is normal. My prolactin is a little high so the dr. wants to get another test done when me AF comes. I am 14dpo now and still nothing yet. I don't feel any pregnancy signs or symptoms.

baby dust to everyone!! :dust:

Jellybean, im not exactly sure of everything the doc is testing for. I do know that he is testing thyroid and hormone levels. I guess ill be finding out in an hour or so! He also referred me to the visiting gyno (small country town) who just happens to specialise in fertilty, that appt wont be for a few months though :-(. Good luck with your tests. I have told 2 of my closest friends we are TTC. One is due to have a c-section in July and the other had an eptopic pregnancy in december :-(. She has asked both my husband and i plus our 2 children to be in her wedding!! They are both very excited for us.

Thank you KK0501, and FC for you!!

only my 3 closest friends. It's just weird telling my family about it and especially my parents...don't want them to keep asking.

I know what you mean. I really love the fact that my two friends know, the support is fantastic. The friend who is due soon was TTC the same time we were TTC our son. After a year she got some checks and she was diagnosed with unexplained infertility and then endemetriosis a few months later. She is very understanding of the disappointment every month when AF shows up. She was very shocked when she fell pregnant! We havent told our any of our family but i think my mum suspects something is going on lol. In a town this small it doesnt take long for gossip to go around so absolutely no one here knows that we are TTC.

All 3 of my kids were conceived while I was on the pill!!! Now we are actually trying for one more to complete the family- and its been 9 mos without success. Starting to think I should go back on the pill! Its ridiculous!

Just got back from docs. Bloods were fine but he only checked for thyroid and something else i cant remember. Saw another Dr, he is sending me for more bloods. Checking estrogen, prolactin and bunch of other stuff. In a few wks im also going for a pelvic ultra sound to check for cysts and follicles. So now even more waiting! Arghhh

hope it's your month Lou when do you test?

gavinsmom-i'm not sure it does sound confusing, fingers crossed you get your bfp

I'm due on 30th and have not bought any more HPT's so going to try to wait til then.

How long are your cycles KK0501? When are you going to test?

It took me four years to have my third (through fertility doctor). About 6 months for my 1st and 2nd. Hubby and I never use birth control...But hubby has only 3% normal sperm. Hugsxx. I think it is 'normal' for it to be at least 4-6 months, and longer if you are 'older'. Doesn't make it easy though!

Morning, just caught up, it's crazy that we all conceived so easily first time. I'm only on cycle 3 so my heart goes out to you all on longer term ttc. Over here (uk) they won't really investigate unless you have been ttc for more than 12 months. That's a LONG time to wait! I'm hoping it will happen by the end of the year. I think I'm currently 4 or 5 days past ov however not totally sure as haven't had a positive opk but loads of ov pains.

kK0501 - I hope you get sorted soon, if it is prolactin it is easily fixed so fx!
Wanting2more - glad they are giving you the tests - hope the results are positive
Lou - if AF doesn't show then I'll be testing around the same time as you. Let's hope we get that BFP!

ME!!!!!!!!! aiden was just 4 months (2 doing things correctly) this is month 6/7 so far :(((( xxx
