Can anyone help me with a laptop?

I'm completely at a loss and have no idea where to start. All I want is something to play Sims 3 and to use Photoshop Elements and the internet. I know pretty much most laptops will probably do that nowadays as long as they have the right graphics card but I don't know what's a good buy and what's not. Help?!!

Hey, not essential but what would be good is dedicated graphics. If you want multiple program's running simultaneously then higher ram enables the laptop to cope with that. Processors wise, something good would be an I series processor i3/i5/i7 etc. none of these are essential but food for thought - apologies if I've confused it further

my husband has a gaming laptop, so its good for games like sims 3 and eventually sims 4

I've just bought a new laptop - And ill admit to playing the Sims for the first time in years this week.

Intel I5 Processor clocked at 1.8ghz
8GB Ram
1TB Storage

Works a treat. It's a HP Pavillion.
