Can breastfeeding make periods irregular?

I know breastfeeding delays menstruation, but once your cycle returns, can it make you irregular? I got my period back 5 months PP and had it approx monthly since, except this time, I am going on 6 weeks... A little freaked out that I could be pregnant?

For me it's pretty irregular. One cycle was 6 weeks, one was 3. Who knows when it's coming next.

I think so. Mine has been back for 10 months now and it is all over the place.

Yep, mine is still all over the place and I've had it back for over a year.

It def can! Tho im going on 13 months and no signs of af! Not preg either...hubbys fixed;-)
