Please don't judge, or laugh at my stupidity, but do you have to be ovulating to get pregnant? Like can you get caught either side of ovulation?

you can BD a couple days before ovulation and still get pregnant on the day you ovulate! Its actually best to BD a few days before and the day of. Not really after though

They say sperm can live in your system up to 5 days, so I think the official window is 5 days before through 1 day after
