Can I feel my uterus at 8 wks??

Hey all,
I'm 8+2 with no 2 and I was feeling my tummy earlier on and just above my public line I felt a line, above it is squidgier than below it. Could it be the top of my uterus??
Is it too soon??

They say the top of your uterus starts to poke above the pubic bone at about 9 weeks but every pregnancy and every woman is different. With my son it was slightly after the 9 week mark that the doctor could feel it above my pubic bone but with this one I had a nearly successful ultrasound at 7+ weeks! He could see sac, fetal pole and got a glimmer of a HB but was unsure of it's rate so did transvaginal to confirm and get a rate. I was just at pubic bone level so by 8 weeks it has popped over just slightly.
