I posted in the twin forum about an early scan I had yesterday possibly being 2 babies. I was told it was a baby and a yolk sac but everyone I show asks if it's 2 babies. I have 19 month old twins so I very much only want there to be 1 in there. Just trying to see what others look like and get some peace of mind

I'm no expert but it looks like two to me!

Good luck x

I can't imagine an experienced sonographer mistaking a yolk sac for a baby. If they did, they shouldn't be doing ultrasounds! Good luck.

Did the tech say anything to you about it?

It looks like there could possibly be a second fetal pole right near the yolk sac... But I'm not an expert in the slightest. I would ask your doctor what he/she thinks!

Always hard to tell from just one pic, but, looks like a cute little baby with yolk to me!

How far along are you? Here is mine from 8 weeks if it helps?

I have no idea but would think it's just one baby on the left. Fingers crossed for you that's the case x

This is my twins pic, I think I was about 7ish weeks then. They were in separate sacs though

I think it looks more like one baby and a yolk sac - how many weeks are you? This was my 8+3 scan

I believe I'm 7 weeks but not sure. My twins are fraternal so they were in separate sacs as well. I will have a scan by my dr in 2 weeks but I'm feeling more reassured that's it's just a baby and a yolk sac. Thank you
