i had a baby 3 months ago and i found out that the guy thats on the birth certificate is not the biological father, my current boyfriend is, and i want to change my babys last name do i need permission from the guy who is on the birth certificate as the father or can i just take care of it myself because i dont want to see him hes a total jerk

I think if you can get a paternity test done (i think thats what its called) and it shows up as your current boyfriend being the father then they'll change it automatically because it will show the other guy isn't the father.
