can someone help please, how to use my test??

Hi hope someone can help me, ive bought a cheap test, its 3 sticks with a cup, there isnt a leaflet with it though and on the box it says to read the result after 3 minutes but it doesnt say how long to leave the stick in the cup for? do i leave the stick in the cup for 3 minutes or less?

What brand is it maybe you can find the instructions online?

Its normally about 10-20 seconds to be held in the urine for

i used to count to 20 then take it out when you see the urine going across the stick aww good uck let us know how u get on !x

ah ok thank you for replying, i looked online but its just a cheap one (£1.99 for 3 sticks) and couldnt find it online,
i'm gonna wait a bit coz DH home and dint want him to know i was doing it as were LTTC and dont want to get his hopes up and be disappointed as im irregular anyway

Good luck! And yeah, hold it there for 10-20 secs or until the dye starts moving. And please post pics! I'm addicted to looking

Internet cheapies I use say 3 seconds....I duno.....just as soon as the stuff starts moving I'd take it out!! FX FOR YOU can't wait to see pics

It was definately a negative!

I don't know if I have ovulated or not but i'm on CD 44 (used to long cycles but been quite good lately 32-35 days)

CD 28-30 I had shooting pains in boobs and twinges of period pains which made me think I was gonna have a 32 day cycle but no such luck, I s'pose I could have tested too early as I dont know when ovulated but don't want to get my hopes up again,

back to waiting for AF, at least now I can stop imagining symptoms lol, ive got clomid to start next cycle so I will have more hope then but thank you for your support and if i get brave and test again i'll be sure to post if I get a positive

ya the last ic i bought it was 5 secs these ones are 3 secs. So no more than 5 sec

I seen a website where they done an experiment of over saturating and under saturating a hpt and it didn't affect the result too greatly, the undersaturatred test had pink dye smudged as there was not enough liquid to help move the dye along the strip... I think it was the peeonastick website xxxx

thank you all, still no AF and day 47 now, i had a very small amount of spotting today which ive never had so still holding onto that little bit of hope that i tested too early and ovulated really late!
