Canadian Moms & Moms to be!

Elyse sometimes gets her hands caught in her links on the playmat, and the toys hit her... she REALLY likes that

I've left Hannah alone with the MIL once for an hour and found it traumatic for her and me

PS 2:50pm and my baby is not home yet!! :hissy:

"MIL" put her down for a nap at 1:30.. when she wakes up she will give her a bottle then WALK her home.. because the exercise would be good for her.. if I could give her a ride home after to pick up the car seat and Bumbo..

:dohh:

my MIL is a special one.
she helps us all the time, with buying us stuff, as well as watching grady if we want to watch a movie by ourselves, go to the drive in, etc... but grrr... once we're home at the apartment, grady is a little DEMON because she holds him the WHOLE time.. and if she has to get up to do something, she passes him off to his papa, so he's like never put down. Which is why I have breakdowns.. Because unfortunately, most days I have things that need to get done around here, and it doesn't happen if I have to hold my baby the whole time! LOL.

Tasha - whats TP like at costco!? lol. And kleenex? Those are the two things we stock up on when they're on sale. About 3 weeks ago we JUST ran out of TP we bought on boxing day! And Kleenex, I go through like a box every 2-3 days cause of my allergies!

Hannah had to be held for all her naps for 3.5 months  Can't blame that on the MIL though

you're going to meet my MIL and than wonder why I complain I just know it

Hmm not sure off hand but I'll see if my mum knows. If not next time we go I'll make sure I check for you!!

I'm seriously hoping that Hannah will just warm up to me...Although... I have the secret weapon...THE BABY!!!! She'll be near me so fast since I have Grady.. ahahhahaha!

Ok, I'm in the pen pals & sweet swap thing on here..

MAN girls "over there" write their addresses differently! The address I just got has 7 lines to it?

Mine has 4 or 5, depending if I write the postal code on its own line or not!

Hannah is so in love with Grady   I've only seen her take like that to one other child and that was one of my nieces in Texas. She's doing better than she was, will depend though because sometimes the in-laws come in and set her on edge immediately which causes her to freeze up the rest of the day

That's no fair to the poor girl. No one wants to be run at and like suffocated! Poor Hannah!

 You'll see what I mean. Some of them behave, some don't. And they wonder why Hannah doesn't like them :muaha:

Off topic-but-

Natalie has a penis

when I see you this summer all I'm going to look at is the buldge in your pants hahahahhaa

Hi everyone :) Seems like I'm barging in a bit here, but I just wanted to say 'hi!' to the rest of the Canadian girls on here!

Thanks to Tasha41 for inviting me <3

I'm in the "Moms To Be" category - going for my first doctor's appointment today (to confirm the pg) so I am holding my pee like mad so that I'll be able "to" when I get there!

Have a great day, everyone!

No problem hun!! All are welcome :hugs:

Good luck at the appointment.

PS, I never had a problem peeing at the doctors.. ever. Even when I peed before I went. It just comes out somehow LOL. A neat trick pregnant women can do, being able to pee in a cup on command. Guess to compensate for not being able to "roll over"?

Has anyone used Crest Whitestrips?

My god they are hard to keep in!!

No I haven't Tasha but I have heard they are hard to keep on-I need something for my teeth-I unfortunatly wasn't blessed with nice pearly white teeth! I brush them twice a day as well as floss and rinse and I've always had stained looking teeth-even when I was achild-then there is BJ who is a smoker and has perfectly white teeth GRR

I tried using them... and they are hard to stay on, AND they send shooting pains through my teeth. HUUURTS so badly!
