EM! You are SO lucky! Have fun shopping! I must say I am trying to curb my jealousy...jealousy is definitely my biggest downfall!

I just spent most of the morning looking at eddiebauer.ca....I want want want want!! I never get to the city so I do all my wishing online

And I have decided that I need to try harder to keep up with you girls! This thread goes FAST! I did what Alexa's Mommy did - just skipped a bunch I think I read back to page 95 or something but wasn't it just in the 80s yesterday? Sheesh! I guess us Canadians like to talk eh?

Em, it is hot here too, but windy like crazy! We're supposed to be hauling our cows out to pasture today, but Kalevi (my husband) isn't back from getting the trailer, so I've just been sitting on here all morning! We finally got a router for our internet, so I'm sprawled out on the couch! Yessssss!!

I used to be a Team Leader in an Automotive factory here. We made seats for Ford and Chrysler. Given the automotive market, I am now laid off... LOL! Anyways it's all good and I'm going to try and take the 2nd Career program. Not exactly sure what I want to take yet though. I still have until March of 2010 to figure it out though.

I just realized that through having full Sick Leave, Mat Leave and having my Severence Package I'll have been off work for a year and 7 months.

Guys I have a question...

My work is cutting back hours.. since before I went on maternity leave I was working 25hrs/week.. would they HAVE to give me 25hrs/week even if they cut down other people working the same amount to 10hrs/week? And if they do cut me back to like 10hrs/week what do I do? Just wondering! I really don't want to go back, lol. I don't have time to work, so I hope to get a job as a waitress or bartender instead so I work fewer hours but make more money (tips).

No idea, sorry I cant be of much help. I would think they'd give you the same hrs but with all the cut backs now.. who knows...

Nat - I just gave Phoenix his bath and thought how you said last night you do it in the morning cause you're scared to do it alone. I remember I was terrified the first time ... but now it's good, takes only 10 minutes or so (until he's able to play with toys) His new thing is looking in the mirror cause the tub is on the counter.. he smiles at himself the whole time.. so cute.
