I thought GM canada DID go bankrupt? They closed and laid off tons of employees? Apparently they are in the money hole from giving exorbant promotion bonuses etc.

I skimmed something that said Canada was bailing out GM.......to the tune of 9 billion dollars for tax payers

I heard 10.5 billion dollars will be given from both Ontario and Canadian governments as bail out money... because something like 85,000 jobs in Ontario will be lost because of them closing.

Man, i know this is a small one in comparison, but everytime we go back and forth to cobourg we drive through oshawa, right past the plant, and they just finished putting out god knows how much money to make a brand new HUUUUGE on/off ramp at stevenson road to help with the GM shift changes. I'm talking HUGE. With GM not there, they didn't need to start on that. they've been working on it for YEARS, and are JUST starting to complete it.. only need to finish the on ramp heading eastbound and it'll be done... and if GM closes, that's wasted money really.

I didn't start entering them until a couple months ago. I missed out on tons of them because all I use are Pampers.
