This, my friends, is DELICIOUS!!!

I caved and had McDonalds for lunch. :(

Although I had the chicken snack wrap... but it comes with two of them... so I dunno.

Got some more scrapbooking stuff at the dollar store (300 backing mats, borders and tags for $2! Woohoo!!!) and went to Michael's for party supplies. :wohoo: So much fun!!!!

Good morning ladies!

Love the new pics!! Jasmine looks just like Tom! And Claire :cloud9:

Happy Birthday Rae!!!!

So my kinda cool story for the day...a couple days after Lakai's party I typed a little letter up, that said basically who Lakai was, how old and please write back. And attached it to on of his Batman balloons and let it go. Well this 82 1/2 year old man (he wrote that on his letter back) just brought the balloon and his letter back to us. Sadly Lakai was not awake to meet him so I'm going to send him the invite with all his "first year" pics on it. But he said he got a real kick out of it.

Kinda cool I think. It's going in his time capsule with the Twilight poster I am not happy about putting away.

That is very cool Nic!

I`m going to have a selfish moment and say that if a message was sent to all the babies to change their sleeping habits then I don`t want to see another message telling them to go back to normal. This is soooo nice!!

Awww glad someone brought one back, Nic, that is so sweet :) I love when strangers take time out of their day to do nice things! What else is going in the time capsule?? When are you letting him open it? Are you going to like.. bury it?? Or??

Its super exciting so long as it is plastic, and not shaped like a toy! Honestly Claire would get a bigger kick out of playing with a plastic bag (if we let her) than her super expensive toys.

So I finished two more pages in my Scrapbook for Claire. Holy hell this stuff is addictive. I'm having a blast! Vickie if you and Stan are able to come next weekend remind me to show you what I've got so far. I'm ridiculously excited and proud of it!!!!

Question for you all... when did your babies (if they ever did) start getting upset with the word NO. Edward has started crying whenever we say No and now that he`s crawling he`s hearing it a bit more (no, not the computer wires, no, not the audio wires etc).

Just wondering if this is normals or if he decided to start a bit young at giving us attitude

Im going to let him open it on his 16th birthday! I thought it was pretty cool he drove all the way down here to drop it off...all nicely tied to the balloon and everything.

We won't bury the time capsule...simply because we live in an apartment...LOL I dont think the Strata would like me digging in the flower beds! They are very protective of them!

You know whats kinda creepy? Google Streetview! I can see my apartment in the summer from a street level...and can 360 around the area to see everything. Its cool but creepy too.

Lakai knows the word "no" and "let go" (especially when it comes to anything to do with wires...what is with that!? He loves to shake them and eat them..) but he just ignores when my hubby says it. He only listens to me. Which is weird to me since Im the less firm one. <---in good and bad ways.

I also think that suddenly we need new toys, it`s like he`s saying `Mom, I`m crawling now, I hate all my toys`

Uck!

Elyse doesn't get mad at no, but she looks at me and then smiles, carries on with what she's doing :dohh: I'm not sure if she is old enough to know yet when I keep moving her away from things/saying no/etc that she's not supposed to do whatever it is she's doing though

She does get upset by certain tones though definitely..

it doesn`t seem to matter who says No to Edward... he starts to cry as soon as we say it.

Sorry for another Q so fast,

Does anyone else have problems with their tailbone/lower back since having a baby? I can't lay down flat on the floor and I have to be careful of how I sit, it's as if my tailbone sticks out a bit and to the side now??

Does he cry and stop? Or just cry and keep going at it? Is it the tone maybe?

Does anyone else have a huge snuggle bug for a baby? Lakai is the most snuggling baby Ive ever met. We cosleep and he sleep to the side of me. So the mornings he reaches over and half awake crawls over the 'hump' (the rolled up towel under the sheet) and comes over for snuggles. :cloud9: He gives me this cute sleepy eyed smile first. I love it!

Awww Nic!! No cuddle bug here, unless she's tired or just waking up in the morning. I looove when she does though <3 she crawls up me if she's in my bed for nap or if it's been a bad night and snuggles me in the morning (usually falls back asleep too, kind of kneeling and leaning against me). Does Lakai ever pet your hair if he wakes up before you ... I wake up being pet on my hair or shoulder all the time if Elyse is with me.
