Amelias dad was texting me earlier as he picks her up tonight..
he wants to be involved in decisions about where she goes to nursery and i said thats fine but my overall decision counts as i have to walk there and back everyday, he said this wasnt fair?! so i said -

'its not fair that you wernt ready to be her dad but there we go, ive made decisions since she was born and can carry on making them all''

then he throws back that ''im still her father''

in which i reply ''ONLY TWICE A MONTH'' :growlmad::shrug:

sometimes he just needs to be told!

and i feel so much better for it...

Thats awesome!
It's funny how they think they can disappear for up to 90-99% of the time, yet their opinion must count for at least 50%

Jokers!

Good on you emalou xxxxxxxxxxxxxxx

Mooohaaahaaaa that made me laugh. I almost wish dickhead would get back in contact so I could do something like that. Go girl x

I like that line! Definitely gonna use it as I have similar issues.

hahaha... I love it.

Baby is due in 2 months and FOB and I are still trying to work things out as far as child support and visitation and such. FOB lives in England and I'm in the states... but he thinks he has a "say" in everything.

my next thing was to say 'okay' and ring him every 5 minutes saying 'is it okay if she has this to eat or goes to this group'

just to annoy :) :cloud9: :haha:

I've asked him if I'm supposed to check with him when I change his diaper to make sure that he has his "say"

it seems ridiculous! ugh.
then because i stood my ground he backed off and said
''miss communication then''

- No, you communicated, said you wanted to be involved all of a sudden after not being ready to be a dad.. okay, so what if i wasnt ready to be a mum afterall?!

just feels so taken for granted.

rant over :haha:/

:happydance:

great response...I've had similar conversations with my DD father...it always ends with me telling him he's an idiot and hanging up...He thinks because he's her father (barely) he has a say in things...he's gotten used to me just telling him things...where she's going to school/camp...when I'm taking her on vacation...every once in a while he gets brave and tries to tell me to do something...its hilarious!!
