hey there, i'm new here, and this is my first post....
I'm hoping someone can give me a little hope for this cycle, as i'm feeling like me and DH missed our window entirely.
We've been trying since may 2013 (8 cycles so far...) with no luck. I had initially been bleeding every 2 weeks or so, was referred to a gyne for that and because we were hoping to get pregnant asap. Had polyps on u/s, cleared two months later and confirmed with sono. Back to trying. Had been doing opk's (various types) for 3 months, with no ovulation or peaks seen. Plans were to start femara in January....which ended up being late January. Well, as luck would have it, my DH (who never travels for work) had to travel away, for the week that he would be required if we started the meds...so we have delayed until my mid February cycle start. Meanwhile, we were advised to buy the CBFM in prep for starting femara and cycle monitoring. I decided to start using it, as I was excited, so I started with my mid January cycle start. So I got "highs" starting on day 8, for 11 days. DH and I bd'd frequently, using Zestica this month as well. We bd'd the day he left on his trip as well (he's gone for a week), which was Tuesday feb. 4. Well, low and behold, I got a peak yesterday and today on the monitor! feb. 7/8. .....frustrated to say the least, as this is the first time I appear to have ovulated in 8 cycles....and he's not here!
Just curious if anyone else has had a similar experience and/or if there's any reason for me to hold out hope for this cycle at all? Is 72 hours pre-peak too early, or could his little men have hung around long enough for us to have a chance?....feeling pretty low and lonely right now, especially as DH is gone for another few days yet.
at least it feels good to get all that out...
