CD22 and waiting to O, anyone else?

I'm only at CD12 but all the side cramping that I thought was O symptoms stopped today so I'm unsure what's going on. I'm also giving up on opks - they haven't worked this far and the dollar store ones aren't giving clear answers.

Congrats on the new job myturn! Like Dragonfly said, it could be a good thing that you're taking a step back. We all know how stress can be a major factor in messing with our cycles, so keeping your mind off things and having a nice relaxed cycle is perfect.

My doc app was very disappointing. She said that I hadn't gone long enough without af to warrant giving me medication. I burst into tears as soon as I left . I think it was just all the stress catching up with me. I was just so fed up. Anyway, I was advised to wait another month and then go back, but hopefully af will come before then.

So i'm temporarily out for a while ladies, but I wish you all the luck in the world and lots of sticky baby dust for this cycle!

melody is ur donor close enough by for u to continue insem while ur waiting for af, just thinking that u may ovulate in that time, its not unheard of for people to be waiting for af on an extremely long cycle and they ovulate and end up pregnant.

we still cant bd, oh was ill again this morning so no bd for a couple of days, im going to ovulate anytime between now and next weekend so things arent looking great for us but tbh it wudnt be so bad if i didnt get pregnant this cycle, with the new job its probably not best that i pop in at the beginning of march and go hey boss, i no iv only just started but btw im pregnant and need loads of risk assessments for me. I dont mind waiting until next cycle but that will be the last one before going to gp.

Melody - I'm sorry to hear that your appointment was disappointing, I really hope that af will show up soon so you wont have to go back in for medication. I second Itsnowmyturn's idea of still doing inseminate while you're waiting, just in case you haven't O'd yet. That is if you feel up to it, if it's too stressful to wonder about it take the time to try to relax and wait for a fresh start when the next cycle begins. Thinking of you.

Itsnowmyturn - How awful that OH is ill Hope he's feeling better soon. It's a good point that maybe waiting a cycle with the new job but if you do get pregnant it's not like they can fire you for it. If not this cycle I hope that it's the next so you don't have to bother with the gp.

AFM: Still no crosshairs, cm isn't really noticeable and the side pains haven't returned. My temps are up from what they were throughout the week, but the last few mornings I was able to temp closer to what my "normal" time was rather than super early. Comparing my chart from last cycle it's totally different, but maybe that's because I was ill during O and the tww? Only time will tell I guess. We're bd'ing with two days maximum in between so no matter what I hope we hit our mark!

I never actually thought about that lol. I could have even o'd already :/ I completely stopped charting since it was confirmed I wasnt pregnant. I just came over with a "what's the point" attitude. My donor is relatively close so it is doable, but i kind of feel like I'd be wasting his time lol. I might just sit this one out. Its been very emotional Its like I've had pms for 50 days lol.

I hope OH gets well soon myturn. Lol it would be a bit awkward if you had to tell your new boss you were pregnant during your first couple of weeks. But still I have my fx for you this cycle.

Temping can be so tricky Dragonfly but at least you're getitng to bd mostly every other day.

Melody I think ur right with how u feel, if it has been that stressful I think ur better off just sitting it out and waiting, do what u think is right for u.

Already feel out this cycle. With oh being ill and me full of cold, we r at his dads next weekend and thats probably my o time so won't be too much bd between now and o.

Dragonfly do u think u may have od but ff just hasn't picked it up yet? X

Aww don't so that. It only takes one tiny spermy to fertilise that egg . As long as you bd as close to o as possible, you will always have a chance. Even if you bd 5 days before you o, there's still a chance.

melodyy_mtb sorry to hear your having this never ending cycle and that right now the doctor can't do much for you....long cycles are the worst. I know how you feel with the 'what's the point' attitude that you get. When I had my 110 day cycle I completely gave up on TTC cause I would just get angry and stressed out if I thought about it to much. Sometimes its best to take a break because stressing isn't going to help AF come sooner. If it doesn`t come soon though I would talk to the doctor again. FX your AF arrives soon so you can start again.


itsnowmyturn- sorry to hear OH and yourself aren`t feeling 100% that always makes it harder to TTC. Your not out yet though! so don`t get your hopes up.


Dragonfly it looks like the crosshairs are showing on your chart. Is there a good chance you timed it out right and caught the egg?


As for myself I'm starting to think the Femara isn't working I'm on CD17 and still haven't O'd. I might have to up the dosage. We are trying to BD every couple of days and plan to until I know for sure I ovulated...I'm determined to catch it this time lol

Andi is femara the same as clomid? Maybe ur dose isn't high enough. I dont no much about them to comment really but i hope u o soon.

U no as much as I do guys that it sucks having longer than normal cycles but u guys def make it that little bit easier. x

Yeah its similar to Clomid. My understanding is the only difference is there is less side effects then taking Clomid. Also some people dont respond to Clomid but they do to Femara. The doctor did mention when he prescribed it to me that we may have to up the dosage if it doesnt work. I have blood tests on CD 21, 28 and 35 to check my progestrone levels I guess they will help determine if it worked.

Andi - That's nice that there's at least less side effects, but I hope it helps you O soon. You may be right that you need a higher dose. Good luck with the blood tests, I hope they hold good results.

AFM: My crosshairs went to dotted lines with this mornings temp so I'm worried that my O date isn't correct... I guess only time will tell. We bd two days before O and the day of O so as long as my date doesn't change we should be good, right?

U shud be dragonfly but as ur temp is right bk down I'd say u prob didn't o yet n ur body is just playing tricks or something.

Cd13 no pos opk yet n no ewcm, i typically get a week of ew before o but that will make my o even later this cycle. We managed to bd for the first time this cycle as we've both been ill so hopefully get the eggy, altho I feel like this isnt my cycle, don't no why jut feel it isnt

I'm willing to bet money I didn't O when FF thinks I did, it's either today or tomorrow. So we bd two days ago and will again today. I plan on giving an opk another go this evening.

Being sick may have put O for a later date. But it sounds like it works out since neither of you have felt up to bd'ing due to being ill. Sending you luck and dust.

Well it looks like i may have Ov yesterday....and of course our luck we tried to BD, cause we are trying to BD every couple of days, but we were both so tired so DH couldn't finish. So I have no idea if we missed it. Hopefully some swimmers were still hanging around from last time. We BD this morning. After work Im gonna see if he is up for BDing tonight, just incase.

Question for you ladies..

I seem to have this issue of getting too wet. Like so wet that I sometimes need to wipe myself during sex just to get rid of it. Its always been a problem because sometime I get so wet there is no friction which makes it hard for DH to finish. Normally we eventually do finish but when were just trying to quickly fit a BD in sometimes its difficult especially around O time when I seem to get extra wet. I see a lot of the opposite problem of not getting wet enough and people just use lube. Any of you have this problem or know of what I can do about this?

one thing that my oh loves (TMI coming up) is when I clench down there and use the pelvic floor muscles, it feels really tight for him and he finishes mostly of the time pretty quickly once I start doing that no matter how wet or dry I am, maybe give it a go, also try maybe giving yourself an o before sex then u may dry up a little after

Andi - Aww thanks for the support. You definitely know how it feels. I couldn't imagine a cycle in its 100s! But it seems like things are getting sorted for you. I'm glad you have o'd in good time this cycle. Sounds like the ferama is working.

Sadly I cant give you any advice about getting too wet. I usually have the opposite problem, and very rarely get ewcm round o time. The only thing i could think of is trying to bd with you on your front, legs completely together to try to combat the friction problem.

Dragonfly - I hope you can confirm o soon. I'm not very good with charting but it sounds like you should be covered with the amount of bd'ing you have done. If you haven't o'd yet then you're still bd'ing so you should be fine.

I have some awesome news, af came yesterday! So that's me on cd2! Never been so happy to see the witch lol. Its a bit of a painful flow but i was expecting that. I've got a blood test tomorrow to check for pcos. Although after 2 women complaining about Vitex giving them an extra long anovulatory cycle, im quite sure it did the same to me. I stopped taking it just in case. However I will be trying Soy this cycle from cd3 to cd7 so I will keep you all posted.

I have been having ovulation pain on both sides today more so the right its making me wonder if im actually ovulating today not yesterday even though I had he temp rise this morning. Im also wondering if the Femara is making me release two eggs which is why its on both sides...oh the thought of twins sounds wonderful and scary at the same time. Who knows Im just hoping i caught it this time!

Andi - Great for O! You probably still have swimmers from last time although bd'ing tonight would still be a good idea Lots of luck! I've never run into being too wet down there so I can't make any suggestions, but Itsnowmyturn gives a good idea about having an orgasm before hand - I seem to "clamp" up and dry a bit afterward.

Melody - I'm glad af finally showed for you! Finally a fresh start Lots most luck and dust this time around for sure!

AFM: Temps back up this morning so I'm voting O was probably yesterday. We didn't get to bd like I wanted to so I was a bit miffed over that all evening. But we did bd two days before my temp drop so hopefully that'll be enough, we also had a round this morning so I'm not sure if that will count or not but oh well. No sore boobs or break outs though, so I'm beginning to worry I still am not O'ing.

Itsnowmyturn- thanks for the suggestions...never thought of Oing before BDing I'll have to try that. I've done the clenching of muscles and your right that does work...but sometimes I just get ridiculously wet and I can't feel anything and either can he. It's kinda gross lol TMI sorry.

Melody- I don't get ewcm either... more watery then EW.

Dragonfly if you O'd yesterday are cycles are pretty much in sync and we would be testing around the same time Curious to see in a few days what your chart does.

That would be exciting to be testing around the same time We could keep each other sane in the tww I'm hoping my chart will say O again for yesterday rather than just keep waiting.

Pretty sure I've only had ewcm once, if ever. The best cm I've ever had was when I was taking cough syrup last cycle while I was sick Other than that it's just wet stuff, not texture.
