So I came off of the birth control pill Cerazette a few days ago after having to start taking it again mid-way through TTC (long story and a frickin nightmare) and I don't remember feeling this rubbish last time I came off of it.
From what I remember from the first time, I came off the pill and after about 4-5 weeks got a period and all was fine. I didn't really suffer any awful PMS symptoms and the periods themselves weren't really any bother.
This time, although it's only been a few days I feel awful: bloated, stupidly tired all the time and I keep getting sharp cramping pains every so often. Is this kind of thing normal? I've looked online and gotten nowhere fast so I figured I'd ask you lovely ladies!
Also, as I now have to wait for my period to start before I can have a round of blood tests done (hormone profiles and checking to see if I ovulate) I'm wondering how I can help things along (not that I'm impatient, of course.....)
I've heard that supplements such as CoQ10 can help but if someone who knows more about this kind of thing can offer advice I would be hugely grateful!!
