Just came off cerazette and have no idea if/when my normal cycle will return. Talk about shooting in the dark!

Mama's-to-be TTC after cerazette - this is your team!

Howdy! I've been on and off Cerazette for the past couple of years... Last on it for about a 1 1/2 months and came off on the 31st July... Had my first period on 11th of September. I had dark OPKs at about day 4 (dunno if I ovulated) and positive OPK a couple of days ago. :)

Hey!

5 weeks after cerazette now for me and no af:growlmad:

I will be on here daily for a rant lol

Lolly x

My period came on like day 40, so don't give up hope! :p

yay! go team!

still cramping today, even had some brown gooey spotting this morning. feels like AF is just around the corner, although after reading stories online that might not mean a lot.

wanted to start temping this morning but of course jack chose last night to wake at 2am and not go back to sleep until 4! lol! no positive OPKs for me yet.

hi

my storie so far.. came off cerazette last november and af came 51 days later... and since then they have been up the wall! last cycle was 40 days but the one before that was 200 days! .. waiting for an appt to come through to see the endocrinologist. xxx

omg, a 200 day cycle? you poor thing :( i really hope the endocrinologist has some answers for you!

Bah, im still spotting and cramping but no AF!!

I'm a bit of a hippy-girl sometimes, so excuse me  but have you considered natural remedies? I did raspberry leaf tea when I came off Cerazette a few times ago... And this time I've been wearing Moonstone (the gem) as it's healing properties include helping regulate menstrual cycles... There are a few other options that I haven't tried out yet (all the homeopathic ones etc) but the Moonstone actually seemed to help me... :)

xx

Oh my god Im actually dying today, My stomach is killing me, really bad cramps. Getting really p'd off now! Im sooooo impatient!!

Im going to the doc's 2mor for something else so im going to ask if she has any advice, i know 5 weeks is not that long to wait for af but i really want my:bfp: for Christmas!!

Cant believe i'd want af to show so much lol

Aww, you taken some ibuprofen or something? Hot water bottle?

It sucks not knowing what's going on, waiting and waiting for something to happen, but not know when it will!! :hugs:

xx

I came off cerazette on 11 sep so this is day 26, spotting 6 days after then nothing.
Have been convinced I'm pregnant, lots of symptoms but BFN today :(

Ooh i didnt realise raspberry leaf tea was good for that? I have a moonstone necklace somewhere i will dig it out. i used to do crystal healing a lifetime ago, i cant believe that didnt occur to me before!

Asolomio - You would not believe how many tests I have wasted after coming off of the pill because my period was so delayed and I had 'symptoms' :dohh: Good luck though, it's much preferable to get a BFP than loads of BFNs and no period!!! A few other people on here have made mention to 'symptoms' after coming off of the pill, just because your hormones are going crazy, so you're not alone!! :hugs:

Yeah, it's like when you drink raspberry leaf tea to induce labour, it's supposed to help bring on a period in the same way! I've just bought a load of moonstones (in various shapes and sizes) to make fertility jewellery; I was wearing a tiny bottle filled with moonstone chips that I made and even if it had no other effect, it made me feel good and confident that I was using a natural remedy that might actually help me!!!:)

xx

Hey!

After my moan last night i feel much better today, yipee!!

Still cramping a bit but I'll get over it. Anyway im just back from the doc's, she's really nice and really helpful. She says the same as everyone else that it's just a waiting game for af to return after cerazette but i've to go back mid November if still nothing and she will prescribe me something to get things moving:happydance:. Im a bit of a tricky one as i also have renal artery stenosis (narrowing of the arteries to heart and kidneys) which i have to take beta blockers for so she's arranged an appointment for me and hubby to go and see a specialist who will talk us through everything for when i do get my:bfp:

Nothing is ever straight forward with me lol but i feel good and positive about things today so its all good!!

Hows everyone getting on, any progress??

Lolly x

Also,

Are you guy's using these ovulation sticks and what not? I dont have a clue what to do!! I might just :sex: every other day and see what happens :winkwink:

Yay lolly, im glad youre feeling better! i bought some ovulation sticks but i havent really started using them in earnest yet. i think im just going to keep an eye on my BBT and CM and then use them if i think i might be ovulating. if i was regular, like i normally am when not coming off the pill, then i would use them at around CD12 i reckon because i always had a textbook 28 day cycle.

No spotting today, and still no sign of AF. i know its not even been a week yet but i hate waiting!! took my BBT for the first time this morning and charted it, so hopefully in time that will give me some clues as to what is going on.

nightkd - i will be heading to the herbal shop today for some RLT! thanks for the tip!

Uterus is feeling weird.... COME ON AF, FFS!

endocrinologist appt came through... 4th Nov!.. fingers crossed they wont cancel on me this time! its about time i got sorted! xxx

I certainly feel like a Cerazette casualty now! Just 5 weeks or so after stopping I got my BFP. Now am currently undergoing a painful recovery from emergency surgery (ON HOLIDAY!) to remove a cyst from my left ovary and a 3-4 week ectopic from my right fallopian tube

oh no, 2016! I'm so sorry *hugs* my SIL recently had an ectopic pregnancy too, its surprising how common it is. i hope you recover quickly and feel much better soon <3
