Hi there, I'm on my first clomid cycle. I've found it really hard. Much harder than IVF. I've had awful migraines to the point I was bed ridden for 5 days .
Anyway I'm pants at maths and I'm trying to figure out what the cumulative chance of a bfp is over six cycles
I need something to work towards as I just feel awful on clomid
Any brain boxes have any idea???

I'm not sure of the odds. I did two rounds and it didn't work for me and I had the most horrific side effects. I also gained nearly 20 lbs!!

if the side effects are too bad maybe talk to your doc about Femara (letrozole). I had success with that when we found the right dose. first cycle was too low. 2nd cycle was the right amount but we didn't dtd enough. 3rd cycle we got our bfp. (sadly it ended in a mc but that wasn't due to the femara). I had no side effects and it has a shorter life in the body so it doesn't affect your lining.

but there are lots of women who have got their bfp using clomid as well. my recommondation is that you dtd as often as possible. Like, everyday. As long as you wait 24 hours in between session he will have enough guys.

Good luck!!

Ugh I'm sorry you're having side effects on clomid. I was mostly lucky but had some pretty awful heartburn.

I'm assuming it's probably different for every woman but my doctor said our chances with clomid after 6 months is about 65% if I remember right.
