We were ttc a girl and messed up this cycle. I just got my bfp on the 7th. The 7th was 9 dpo. So anyway do you think boy or girl?

Luck of the draw really. I didn't DTD any where near ovulation this pregnancy and we actually fell pregnant using the withdrawal method and we are having our 3rd son.
Congrats on your BFP :)

I don't believe in any of the timing theories I'm afraid, you just get what you're given!

I had heard its the best way to naturally sway. So why don't you believe it? I'm just asking not trying to be rude.

50/50

Personally I've had ALOT of friends try (usually 3rd baby - wanting the opp to what they had 2 of) and it in almost every case it hasn't gone the way they wanted. So I hope you get your girl, but if you do, I think it's down the to magic of creating life and nothing more.

What Rickles said really. I mean, I haven't tried to do any of the theories but I know of people who have and it's just been luck of the drawer. A lady I know from BnB recently tried the Whelan method and stopped DTD 2 days before ovulation, hoping for a girl, and she's just found out she's having another boy. I DTD the day of and day after ovulation and was blessed with my DD2. Good luck though, you'll have to let us know of the outcome!

Last time we were trying like mad, DTD 3x daily for the 3 days before OV, the day of OV and the one after, and we had a girl. This time we definitely didn't DTD in the 3 days before conception, and quite possibly 5 days, we weren't trying this was a surprise baby, and low and behold this is a boy - by swaying 'rules' both these babies should very strongly be the opposite of what we got!
