My lo has three 6oz bottles a day and I struggle to even get him to take them. More often than not he takes 4-5oz each bottle. I'm thinking of changing formula to see if he will take more of a different one. Has anyone had any experience/success doing this?

Dairy like milk added to cereals and food, yoghurts, cheese etc all count towards your babies "milk total" for the day so dont worry if your baby is only taking 15-18oz. Just make sure he eats plenty of dairy. xxx

I know about the dairy in food but he quite often has just 12oz of formula, which I know isn't enough. I'd be happier if he'd just take that little bit more :-(

Are you using first milk or follow-on? Follow-on has extra vitamins and minerals like extra iron and vitamin D etc. I know its not 100% necissary for every baby to go onto follow on at 6 months but it might make you feel better about him taking less, knowing he is still getting all the nutrients he needs. xxx

That's a fab idea! I never thought of that, thank you, I'll give it a go xx
