changng from comfort?

i've just been to the chemist and have been given colif drops on prescription - thank god as they're £11.99! but i get them free ^___^ woohoo.

i've just given little one a bottle of the ready made Aptamil carton milk and infacol drops before hand and she seems more settled

as for SMA i've heard that it is prone to giving some little ones constipation *nod*

god i just paid for some, I wonder if I could of got it on prescription for free lol x

you should be able to. he gave me some infacol too just to "keep me going" lol that and he put the sticker on the wrong thing by accident :haha:

apparently you can get colif tablets from health food shops which are less hassle than the drops

no - i just said that i'd been advised by my HV to pick up some and he put it on prescription

My doc gave me a prescription for colief this morning too- what a relief. x

Noree your little one is called one of top 3 names i was going to call my LO. i love hello Kitty too much though so people might have thought i was taking the piss  although i do think Kitty is a really cute name :D

lol

we have decided that im getting lactose free tongiht, symtoms for lactose intolerance start half an hour after feed, they start pulling legs up and pumpings and crying in pain, well twice now just after both feeds she started just after half an hour... I cant bare it any longer :(

i know what you mean hun. tell me how you get on. My OH has bought a tub of Aptamil 1 so we're going to see how we get on back on that - and if all else fails i'll be hunting out lactose free too

I have a full tub of aptimil 1 ... what a waste, Il give her the bottles I have made up with the colief in first x

the colif drops seem to be a pain to make up as you have to make the bottles up 1/2 hour in advance don't you? see, i usually pre-boil water and pour 6 bottles... when i need a bottle i take the bottle from the fridge, heat the water up in the warmer then add the formula so it's usually the right temp...

haha my kiddie will be a granny pixie when she's old :haha: i've had mixed reactions about her name too. I do love Kitty though. it was 2nd on my list to Pixie and 3rd was Aria

well, she's taken a 'normal' aptamil and she's griping far less :happydance: that could be fluke though

Pixie is a beautiful name. Really hope th e Aptamil does the trick for you x

Comfort milk caused us nothing but problems, we switched to normal cow n gate (like a different baby) n colief drops the change was amazing xx

well pixie is a much more happy baby with the change back to aptamil 1 with infacol - have the colif here for backup x

Libby isn't terrible nite last night if anything she is worse looks like it's lactose free for us x
