Help fellow charters!

I'm just confused! I have been charting since dec or so since coming off bcp! And my cycles have been :
Dec - 42 days, wasn't checking for O
Jan- 35 days, O on day 24
Feb- 38 days, O on day 27

So far my LP has been 11 days each time.

Buuuutt... This cycle I've had 2 elevated temps (cycle day 14 and 15) and maybe just a teeny bit of EWCF (pretty sure i had some this am) but I wasn't really paying attention since I wasn't expecting any fertility signs for a good week. So is it possible to vary that much or maybe since coming off bcp did my cycle just snap back to a regular cycle?? Then again I might just be super hopeful since we BD'ed the night before the maybe temp shift and we're not officially trying lol then again I have had a bit of a sore throat coming on so maybe these temps are garbage!

Either way I know it's a wait and see type of situation but I hope my cycle just threw me off and we have a happy surprise!!

Hi OurLilFlu. Can you post your chart so we can get some visuals? I find it helpful at least :) . It's possible for your body to get ready to O then not until later. Maybe that's what's going down.

Sorry new to this and doing it from my phone... I wish it would show the whole chart so you can see the predicted fertile days 27-30

Alrighty, linked your thumbnail  (which is what you were going for right?). Hmm, it certainly looks like you O'd around CD13 or 14 with those nice temp climbs :D . Only time will tell it now. Yay, more waiting! lol

As you feed the program more info each cycle it will continue to adjust your predicted fertile times. Has FF predicted O would happen b/w CD's27 and 30 each cycle or has the prediction changed each new cycle?

Thanks for posting it for me! Lol well it's only my 3rd cycle charting and 4th since coming off bcp. FF was predicting based on my avg (it seems) which is day 26...so predicted fertile cd 23-26 and O on cd 26. So like it shows, O'ing on day 13-14 would be really early for me but not completely far fetched if I'm suddenly 'regular' 28 day cycle lol. And the temps look good, always low 36s for follicular and I always stay above 36.5 in my luteAl. Time will tell.

I'm just still unsure if such a drastic change is possible/ normal...

I would think there would be all kinds of ranges within normal after coming off HBC. I think for some ladies it may take a minute and for others their bodies jump right back in the game. Maybe your body is getting into its own groove after coming off the hormones? What was your cycle length generally before going on the pill?

Here this might help, they're just screen shots but they're my last two cycles. This is from Feb, it's just a bit wonky from working night shifts

And here is Jan, a lot more clear cut. I thought my cycles were pretty avg before bcp but its been a long while that I had been on em... So who knows

Hmm, if your cycles were generally about 28 days, give or take, before HBC I would think this might be your body regulating itself. Yep, going to have to wait and see! Thrilling I know lol.

Haha you're funny!! I guess I'll know in a day or two if I'm in the TWW! Even more waiting!

Oh the dramaz! Totally stalking your chart to see what it does :haha: .

I just realized we were AF buddies this cycle! April 5 lol! So this whole FF thing, with that link in the post it'll keep updated? Sa-weet!

Haha! Scrutinizing your temps I completely missed that we are cycle buddies lol. And yep, the link will update every time you put more info in.

Not too sure, I'm ready lol I keep bugging him. I just graduated from my Bachelors of Science in Nursing but now I've having a hard time to find a job (our provincial government is making big cuts :( ) We also want to buy a house pronto, goal of this fall. It's so hard because house baby and wedding compete for my top spot like daily. The man is also on a waiting list for his apprenticeship, it's only 8 weeks of school at a time so I'm not too worried about it (as long as I'm working somewhere!)

Baby fever tends to consume me though anytime I feel like I have the tiniest chance of being preggers lol so I think that says a lot for where I'm leaning!!

And it's hard being off BC and charting to kind of prevent. Cuz every so often we'll throw caution to the wind or like now, my body will throw me for a loop! GAH!

Congrats on your graduation! Hope you find a job you enjoy really soon so you can put your degree to work :) . Yeah, it's really hard to wait when everything in you is more like "NOW PLEASE!" lol. On second thought, forget the please, the baby rabies ain't polite in the least :haha: . Sounds like you guys have a nice plan going  .

And I just finished my labour and delivery preceptorship AND I have been working in postpartum for the last year... Doesn't help at all. I got some good ish news though just now, as soon as I get my temp license on apr 29 they'll keep me casual at my postpartum job :)
