Cheers to BFPs in 2-0-1-6!

Got my beta test results. HCG is at 38 (that was 11DPO Test). Does anyone know whether that's good or bad? They want me back on Monday to do a follow up (make sure it's doubling). I said okay but then realized I'm out of sick days so I left a message to see if there's any way I can go in Sunday instead, they are open weekends until noon. I'll make it work if I Have to but it'd be easier for my job if I could go in on Sunday.

As for progesterone: they didn't give me my numbers for that. But I called because my chest turned BRIGHT RED, looked like a bad sun burn. They told me to stop taking the pills and they would prescribe me the vaginal suppository. They said I mihgt have to wait til tomorrow to get it, but I just called my pharmacy and they said they wont' get it for me until MONDAY NIGHT, and it'll cost $350!! Because insurance won't pay.

DH says $ is not hte issue, we have credit cards for a reason (I love him <3) but I'm really worried about no progesterone until Monday! I started calling around to all the local pharmacies and no one has it. The lady at safeway said she would call local pharmacies and see if she can find anyone who has it in stock for me, she's going so far as to call non-safeway pharmacies, which is rare. And very nice of her (assuming of course she actually does do it). And then will call me back.

Sooooo my plan is this: I'm taking my pills anyway today. I'm not going to risk it. I'm too scared. AF is due tomorrow....and I'm in the middle of a panic right now at the idea of being without progesterone for that many days after seeing how low my results were from my 7DPO test. I figure if I have a bright red rash this evening then at least I'm at home, and I can be miserable at home tonight (this stuff has some nasty side effects - I've literally been feeling drunk all day - it's not a good feeling -but I'll take it if it gets me my rainbow).

If no one has it, I'll call the dr tomorrow and ask what they want me to do. If someone does have it we will fill it and just pay for it. That's a lot of money but..... at least I'd have it (and they said it has almost no side effects compared to the pills).

Sheece - Good luck!!

Wow Angel thats full on! I would continue taking them too if i was in your position if that helps x

Hope you get the suppository soon and the drunk feeling goes away!

What were you numbers at 7dpo again? I'd continue taking the pills too

My 7DPO numbers were just above 5 (I think between 5 and 6). The doctor said that the general rule is if it's between 5 and 15 the pills are okay, but if it's below 5 then shots or suppositories have to be used because the pills won't be effective soon enough. He made it pretty clear that I was low enough to be concerned. Thursday afternoon's appointment was pretty obvious, he told me not to even wait one day without getting the pills, so yesterday there was no way I was willing to wait until Monday.

No one can get it until Monday. No one within 45mins of me anyway. So I took the pills but the red rash didn't come back so I am going to ask today if i should just keep taking the pills. If I do switch to the suppository I'm going to call my insurance and request an exemption and see if they'll cover it. $350 is a lot of money each month for 2-3 months!

Sounds like a good plan. I just wondered what your numbers were compared to mine as I know mine was under the normal range. Mine was 27 so if I was you I would 100% keep taking the pills until you can get something more suitable. If the rash has gone it might have even been something unrelated. I don't know about hgc, sorry

Same comments as the other ladies. A rash is nothing. Take the meds. Fx this is a sticky one and that everything goes well. Try not to stress

Thanks ladies! I decided to keep taking the pills last night. I wasn't willing to risk it. I did get hold of my doctor today. Took awhile, I guess they were really busy so it took awhile for them to get back to me. They decided that I should stay on the pills for now, since I didn't have a reaction last night. But if I have any redness or shortness of breathe again I am to stop again immediately. They don't want me to go until Monday night without progesterone.

Today's pills didn't give me nearly the side effects that they did on Friday. Felt a little fuzzy but not at bad. I'm happy about that!

Doctor appointment Monday to check HCG levels and progesterone levels. And then every 48 hours blood work until my HCG is up to 1500 and thats when they'll do an ultrasound to locate the embryo sac.

I can't believe this is actually happening!

Keeping everything crossed Hun. Your temps look good!

Ladies? Took a test tonight on a whim. DH and I can both see it, I'm going to take another one in the morning just to see... But can anyone else see it?

I see it! Easily!

OMG! Abe! Idk what to say! Can't wait to see more :) have you had any symptoms?!

Well, obv I should say congrats! Lol! So shocked and excited for you! :happydance: :blue:

I don't really feel any different to be perfectly honest. Took an FRER four hours later, it's really faint but there is a line. I'm pretty sure at 12DPO it should be darker? Maybe I didn't hold it long enough? It's a shock to us too. We definitely thought we were out again this month.

I see faint lines! I got a super faint line on one of those tests yesterday too but I'm not sure I believe it. I think yours is more obvious than mine though

Congrats abe!

This is mine. Don't know if anyone can spot anything?

Yours is really hard to see, maybe testing in two days will help?

Thanks ladies, I'm just worried it's a chemical. That line should be way darker by now, shouldn't it?

I wouldn't necessarily say so. I know when I got my bfp with ds it was quite faint and I think af was actually late as I wasn't sure when I ovulated.

I know mine is faint, or perhaps all in my head, lol!! I decided to start testing from 7dpo which might actually be 6dpo so I can get some progesterone if it's pos.

I wouldn't think so, Abe. Since its cd12 you're still 2-3 days before AF is due, right? So I wouldn't expect a normal positive until then. ;) what a lovely surprise for you!

Broody, I don't see it but I feel like there's something there. Keep testing daily! :)

I started cramping last night and this morning & had me worried. I keep checking for blood but nothing. I have been testing daily because....I'm scared. I'm watching for darkening lines. Today's FRER is definitely darker than 2 days ago, when I did the last FRER. And my Wondfo's suddenly got way darker today! :D

Today is 14DPO. . . . I got up the nerve to download the Ovia Pregnancy app yesterday. I'm so scared that everything I do is going to jinx it!!

abe I definitely see it!! It wouldn't necessarily be darker by now depends on when you implanted. If you had a later implant then your hormones wouldn't be as high yet. Keep testing and see if it darkens. I found that I got a much better line on the dollar tree test than I did on my internet cheapies at 11DPO. I didn't get a good dark line on my Wondfo's until today (14dpo) when I was getting clear lines on the FRER at 11DPO. I say test again tomorrow with FMU or SMU.

Broody - I can't tell on that test. :/ I'm notorious for not being able to see the faint lines (even on my own) so don't take my word for it. Test again tomorrow!

Angel- I'm going to do a walk in at my clinic to get my blood drawn. I'm scared too. I'm worried this one won't be a sticky. I'm worried my progesterone levels aren't going to be high enough, or that my numbers aren't going to double fast enough. I'm hoping this won't be the case - for any of us on the forum.

We bought a crib last summer when we first started TTC. This morning after looking at the FRER I walked right in and cried. I never thought we would be able to conceive naturally. I've had some cramping, but it's not AF type cramps. I'm just hoping she stays away. For those with longer cycles, how did the doctors date you? When I put my lmp into one of the tickets it says I'm five weeks, but if I go off of ovulation, knowing I'm only 12DPO it says I'm 3 weeks 5 days...
