i started in aug last year, but think about doing christmas shopping on the 26 december lol !

Iv told OH im going to buy bits and piece's for relative's crimbo present's starting this month.
We usually spend load's on his neice, and TBH we need to cut down spending on her for her birthday/crimbo (6day's between them!) as we are going to have our own to buy for and there's also Mike's daughter, we like to get her a little something and put away for when he get's contact to her!
So if I see something extra nice and special that would be ideal for his neice that isn't to expensive, then we will get it and put it away.
We wont get LO's stuff tho until November-December time, so I don't have to struggle with storing it all and give in to temptation and let him have it early.

My MIL is super organised and usually starts in January. It wouldn't surprise me if my LO already has a christmas present!

I started in Jan ! Every time I get the child benefit I buy one christmas present to put away for Daisy.

Im not good at saving so cant save each week,we have hubbys daughter birthday nxt month and thats sorted, my younger sons 12th july and hubby 13th july all sorted, mines in sep but i know what i want :) and then christmas and jan 23rd older sons b-day...We are really organised and we have so many debts at min buying bit by bit each week is easier for us,plus i love the sales..We have so much going on this year that we could easily get tied up so we def starting now

also i think its much easier when the kids are younger, if i started buying for jack & leah now they would have gone off the things 100 times over by december

My kids are young 4 (neary 5 by dec) and 3 in july so they seem to like the same kinda stuff and dnt really change much.....My oldest loves his cars, vans, truck ect and noisy moving things and also loves arty things where my youngest loves arty stuff too plus play sets with animals ect..Im gonna buy them lots of clothes for next winter, which i know they cant not like lol and lots of games as they love new games
( esp my older son) There favourite is stockings with little treats and sweets in so cant go wrong, and aslong as i make cakes ect they are happy lol

i save morrisons stamps thro the yr , that covers me shopping, as for out eles ive bdays b4 xmas  hasnt everyone

Ive got stuff put away already. I tend to keep an eye out for stuff in the sales

For my son Ive got a Brio Mickey tain track turn table thing and Ive found 2 matching train cars with different characters so we got them as well. Ive got 2 big puzzles as well.

All going well second baby will be here early November so I dont think we'll get much Christmas shopping in afterwards.

We have already bought most of the kids presents! By December there will only be 1 wage coming in as I will be on additional mat leave so that combined with the ELC store in our town closing down and having 50% off everything, we're almost done shopping :)

I've decided I'm going to start rather early this year too. Last year, I found so many things I wanted to buy, but by the time my usual shopping time rolled around, everything I wanted was gone! :growlmad:

I don't want to start now, though. Maybe next month :winkwink:

I want to get most shopping done by baby born, i can do babies christmas stuff and hubbys and some of my boys stuff and then after baby born all that will be left will be new decs and rest of boys stuff plus the food ect.

I dont shop early, but this is the second year I have saved with Park, its great cos I am rubbish at saving normally and end up dipping in it for stuff!

Last xmas was the most relaxed as I knew I had money for the pressies without any worry!

I keep thinking about park but i realised its cheaper to go to supermakets to buy stuff but i think i may do park for christmas 2011 as we gonna have busy one then.

I just get the vouchers! They can be spent in most of the shops I get pressies from!

The post office do one too, a card - and its actually better than Park as can be used in more places and you can top up in the post office as and when you like but cant spend til November!!!

weve started saving already! but think ill pick things up when i go to the shops as it will be los 1st christmas also he ll have eid with his dads family my mum and grans birthday and our aniversary all nr christmas1 x

Im no good at saving not even in a account, i have no idea why lol...Me and hubby been talking today and if we could start putting money in for a park hamper we would as baby due in oct and we dnt wanna be running around shopping lol but we both unemployed at min so that would be a big struggle
