Christmas Carrollers?

Anybody had any yet? I had some kids come to the door tonight ... bit early lol

I am not running up and down the stairs anymore to keep answering lol, im not scrooge i just dont want to slip down the stairs and hurt myself or LO

yes we had some, i refused to give them money though because they just sung "we wish you a merry christmas and a happy new year" and that was it, just one line.
So i told them if they wanted money they could sing me some more and they refused so went away, if they were little kids i would have given them sweeties or money, but they were 14-15 year old little troublemakers, always hanging around street cornors and they egged my neighbour across the streets house on halloween, so they can bugger off

We've never had carrollers to the house.. just a band sometimes walks up and down the streets spreading holiday cheer, it sounds great actually.. and if you want to donate they're loud enough that you can go outside to them.. Salvation Army I believe.

Yep.
I think about 4 times this week...quite early,I didn't even put up my Christmas tree!

i used to christmas carol when i was in guiding. but only like the middle of decemember lol

Nope, no one does this here. I would not answer the door if they did! What do you do tip them? or just listen to a song or two. haha

Yeah you tend to get kiddies come around singing carols and sometimes slightly older kids. A bit like on halloween when kids go trick or treating. I'm suprised you guys dont get them over there!!

Usually give them some pennies or some give sweeties.
