I know some people do a December box and some don't do this at all... but I did a Christmas eve box last year and it went down so well I want to do it again this year.

What do you put in yours?

So far I've got (for 3 kiddos)...
Activity books
Bath fizzers
Pjs
DVD (not sure which yet)
Popcorn
Hot chocolate and marshmallows
2x bedtime books (a silly one and The Night Before Christmas)
Santa's plate and reindeer food

We've never done the magic key thing for some reason otherwise that'd be in there.

Im debating putting their stockings at the bottom of the box for them to hang up... but also I like to have them hanging up before then. We'll see!

In our Christmas Eve box we have:

Small activity/colouring book
Story book about Santa or Christmas themed
DVD
Some treats (popcorn and some chocolate)
A sachet of hot chocolate
New PJs
Stocking
Reindeer food

We also do a Box on the 1st December where we have

Christmas clothes - Jumper, undies, socks etc. Whatever I have picked up.
Christmas craft sets (usually from Hobbycraft. My favourite shop :haha:)
Advent calendar
A letter from Santa
Elf on the Shelf
Big activity/Colouring book

We have:

Activity book of some sort

Hey Cottles! Fancy seeing you in here! :haha:

On December 1st, the boys will get their advent calendars (DS1 has Lego Star Wars & DS2 has Playmobil 123), plus some Christmas jammies & then I dig out the Christmas bedding, plates, cups etc.

On Christmas Eve, they will have (although, I haven't bought any of this yet!):
Christmas activity book of some sort (stickers etc.) each
Christmas story book each
Christmas themed toy each (last year was Happyland & Playmobil but not decided yet for this year)
Chocolate treat each (got the cute Kinder houses last year)
Christmas themed snack for watching a film (got Christmas animal biscuits last year)
Christmas cookie cutters (same ones each year, to make our biscuits)
Bath bomb for special bath (usually a Lush Christmas one)
Large hot choclate cone for before bed
New Christmas jammies

Think that's it!

I fill a box with :

Christmas Jammie's
Lush bath bomb (usually one with tons of glitter!!)
Reindeer food
Christmas activity books
Christmas story
Torch each for when we go outside to do reindeer food
DVD to watch as a family
Christmas themed gingerbread man

I get the elves (my mum and dad) to deliver ours, they shake jingle bells outside all the windows then 'run' away, then when we open the door its magically been left there by the elves xx

This year I'll do..

Christmas PJs
Christmas book
DVD
Some sort of Christmas activity book (last year it was a colouring book)
Hot chocolate and a new cup/mug
Probably some other little bits too, maybe some Christmas chocolates, fluffy socks.. depends what I find!

We do Christmas Eve boxes for each of us (hubby and I do each other's) the limit has to be £25 per box. There's usually jammies, bath bomb, snowman soup, reindeer food, an activity and some chocolate. We have Amazon prime, Netflix and sky cinema so I refuse to buy dvds!

We do a Christmas week box.
We bought a big christmas crate and each year put in all of our christmas DVDs and books, Santa's magic key and all of the kids Christmas teddies.
Then every year we add some new bits.
This year were adding new books, a Christmas annual and
Christmas sticker book for our eldest. Hot chocolate, marshmallows, biscuits, popcorn etc for them to eat when we watch the DVDs and Christmas PJ's for all 3 kids. Probably some other bits too.

I usually do a December 1st pack,

-advent calendars
-Christmas activities
-Christmas advent candle to burn each night at teatime
-Christmas socks
-a little selection box

Christmas Eve box
-Christmas pj's
-selection box
-a Christmas book
-dressing gown
-reindeer food
-Santa key

We have a Christmas eve bag, which is just a disney store Christmas bag.

I usually put in the following:
New pyjamas
New dressing gown
New slippers
Christmas DVD
Night before Christmas book
Snowman soup
Chocolate Christmas biscuits
Popcorn
Santa's magic key
Santa's plate
Reindeer food
Christmas activity book

Xmas eve box last year I did:

Reindeer onesie
Stompeez slippers
Xmas socks
DVD
Reindeer food
Xmas colouring book and pencils
Chocolates

Separate they had a personalised Santa plate, night before Xmas book and Xmas craft activities.

I've always done one each for the boys but think this year I'll do a joint one. Ours will have:

Cookie cutters and mix for making cookies for Santa
Reindeer food
Dvd and popcorn
Magic key
Pjs
Bath bomb
Night before Christmas book

Think that's it!

I dont usually do one. I normally just give the boys new pj's on Christmas Eve, but I'm thinking that this year I may do a family box. With a dvd, a game, some snacks, some Christmassy bubble bath and their pj's
