Christmas Eve plans?

How will your Christmas Eve go? Do you plan it out or just go with the flow?

Gutted as I'm working Xmas eve as soon as I saw it fell on a Tuesday my heart sunk a little

Pick up the turkey,collect Dean from work,will have given the kids their xmas eve packs in the afternoon,come home,showers,put on new pj's,have takeaway and bed x

I think I'll be going to the crem with my parents, give Alex his Christmas Eve bag after lunch, change the bedding and Hoover and mop while Alex is entertained (hopefully), take away when OH gets home from work, have baths/showers and into our new jammies, DVD, soaps and bed.

I never really plan it. I make sure the house is clean for christmas day and make sure we have our baths and put new pjs on, but thats the only planning really. This year I'd like to do a bit of baking. xxx

Probably spend the day getting our place tidy for the in-laws in the evening, in the afternoon our elf will leave out Colin's Xmas eve bag so Colin can watch his new dvd while I do any last minute prep. In the evening visit with in laws and have supper. Bath Colin and put new pjs on and read new xmas book.

Will be going with the flow, but will give DD her bag after lunch so we can watch Xmas films in the afternoon. Will need to prep my dinner too lol xx

we will just chill out most of the day probably, I will wrap the last of the presents and what not, give xmas eve packs, have a takeaway

Theres a possibility I will be working, so if this is the case it will be finish at 3pm, home to prepare buffet tea. A nice winter walk with the dog then back home for DVDs, hot drinks and food before bubbly baths and bed.

If I'm not working I will be spending the morning with DH's dad and step-mum no doubt (I think I'd rather work )

Most likely both of us will be working so will get home and get ready for mass then probably have my family over for a few drinks and food before. Will get all the presents down then bed very exciting lol

OH will prob work so me and callum may watch a xmas film and chill out on the morning. Might go and see my nan grandad and uncle after with my mom in the afternoon, when OH gets back home we'll give callum his christmas eve bag and he can play/watch whatever we get for him, I'll probably do a buffet for tea like usual. Then when callums gone to bed me and OH usually put the presents out then watch a bit of xmas telly with a drink xx

Nah you're alright haha poor Dean would have to wait a long time for me to get there to collect him for you

I love hearing people's plans for xmas eve, makes me want to do so many extra things, might not fit it all in lol

I think my family will be coming to visit so we'll do the usual (I am from Trinidad so our traditions are a bit different):

-Lots of baking/cooking....black cake (rum cake), sweetbread, coconut bake, pastelles
-Prep for the next day's dinner
-Gift-wrapping
-Making punch de creme (which I won't be able to drink this year), sorrel, and ginger beer
-Roasting chestnuts
-stuffing stockings

Hmm loads of prepping as I don't no we might be going to inlays for Christmas if not then start the day by prepping turkey and food tidy house, give the kids there Christmas Eve bags and then probably takeaway

As we are staying in Liverpool this year I am going to be having a chinese or indian then have another cherry brandy
