Christmas presents for newborns

I hadn't even thought this far ahead yet, but DD will be 5 weeks or so, and I'm thinking of just nipping out and picking up any things that are left on our registry that are of course non essential items that could wait a few weeks. That way we will be able to use registry completion discounts!

Whenever we settle on a name, we will order a personalized ornament, but probably not much else for this Christmas. She will only be a few weeks old.

To be honest I haven't thought of it. Babies Will be about 10 days on Christmas day, they will literally have everything they need because they're so new, I will probably get them a card and write something nice for them to read in years to come xx

Were just getting a few cuddle toys an light up cot mobile and a personalised ornament for the tree! Xmas gets more and more expensive the older they get so I'm going to make the most of her not understanding yet haha x

I read a really cute guideline that said one thing to wear, one thing to read, one thing they want, one thing they need. I think we're going to try and follow that. And we will start this year even though he'll only be just under two months. We are both so excited to start our family that including him in our Christmas celebrations is exciting for us and it doesn't matter that he won't be aware what's going on! In fact I have a feeling we'll go over that guideline because I bet dh and I will both want to pick things out!

I am going to get her a personalised story book the same as I got my ds which spells out his name - I read it to him every night and have done since last christmas

My family has already discussed using Christmas as like a baby shower and getting us anything we need for bubs then. I will be having my baby beginning of December and then that way they can get us anything we need or never thought to buy for this one.
