Christmas Stockings...

Does anyone still do the whole stocking thing with their OH?
Me and my OH buy each other stocking fillers every year and put our stockings by our bed on xmas eve night ready for the morning, we don't yet have any kids.

I was wondering if people just do it for their children, or not at all?

Me and hubby still do the whole stocking thing-its nice for us both to open little pressies whilst Jacks (DS) opening his millions he seems to get we usually go for choccies,underwear,bubblies & little silly things.
Jack has a stocking too that will contain small accessories to go with his larger pressies this year (playmobil toys mostly).

We got stocking when we were younger.
Then when we got older we did stockings for our parents too.

When I moved in with OH he never had a stocking since he was a small child so we did one for each other.

This year it will just be a stocking for Nathan.

Me and hubby have a stocking each. My mum still makes one for me and my brothers too so I also do one for her .

Me and my OH do stockings, but they have a limit of £10 and are to be stuff that's 'not serious' so it's usually just silly wee things. We don't have kids yet, but when we do I think we'll still do this

yeah i think its nice to do a stocking, not matter how old you get it's still nice to act like a kid at christmas

i do them for all of us. OH was really suppised when we got together at the fact he had a stocking AND how many gifts my family do. his family did 1 or 2 small things and a selection box!

DH's parents always have one for each of us on Christmas morning. I love them.

My mom still puts together stockings for the family- even though I'm 24, my brother is 17 and my dad is 50-something! lol I think the pets get stockings too some years... But we have them on Dec. 6, Saint Nick's Day.

we will do one for all of us. Stan generally puts scrapbooking stuff (stickers etc.) in mine and I fill his up with candy

Yeah we do them. Not sure his family did but it was a tradition in my family at was part of what made xmas. My mum did one for me even when I moved out as I would still stay at hers xmas eve.

mine and oh first christmas together this year, so we want to do this, any idea where i can buy some nice sized adult stockings from? were setting a £60 budget each on pressies but said we will get eachother lots of little things instead of one bigger pressie!
