Hey ladies,

What do you do when LO gets masses of gifts at Christmas where do you put the old ones? This year ive decided im going to find a local childrens charity that LO's old toys can be given as Christmas pressies in the area. The only thing im keeping is her dolls pram as it can be used until shes 5.
What do you do? Or are you just running out of space now? hehe xxx

My daughters only 13months so we haven't had this problem yet(although will do soon with the amount shes got already) but I'll probs do what ur doing, I like that idea of it going to charity.. or I may sell some on ebay etc to get some more pennies for pressies! x

Bootsale, Charity shop, ebay, even selling on here. x

my mum and mil both have a nice box of toys
at theirs that i change after christmas and her birthday
we chuck all the big toys in their gardens too :haha:

anything that's no longer played with goes on freecycle
the newer bits i tend to sell but i'd rather give them to
someone else than have them sitting about gathering dust
so if they don't sell i rehome them

My son takes really good care of his toys so they are usually like new even when he's grown out of them. I tend to give them to younger members of the family or to friends. xxx

charity shop, or my godmother's church as a group of them go to africa every year and are always collecting toys for the kids there. i dont sell them.

We give ours to friends we swap :) Its fun and our kids get something 'new' to play with so we are in a win win :)

I am planning to do a big toy clear out in Autumn the toys will either be sold on or given to charity. When Christmas shopping I plan where I am going to put things before I buy them, we don't have a huge amount of space!

I get rid of everything that she doesn't use. We either sell or give to a charity shop.
