I have my trees up but have 2 dilemas...

firstly my lights have broken for the main tree, its 7ft tall and I tried my other lights (160 of them) and it did half of the tree
Does anybody know where I can get a big set of lights to do the tree in 1 go that are not going to break the bank?

Then my second tree, I have decided to do the whole wired ribbon instead of tinsel but have no idea how to make it look good and not scruffy? If anyone knows any tips I would be very grateful x

Thanks ladies xx

How about beads or a garland instead of ribbon? Ribbon can look naff if it's not done right I've found. I tend to do drapes of them like swag loops.

As for lights, we have a 250 led warm white string which I got in Tesco a few years back, they weren't expensive as I refuse to pay out on lights that break so often.

Also try Homebase, we've had lights from there too which were absolutely fine.

I think ribbon is pretty easy to do. Just make sure you get a good quality, pretty ribbon. I usually wrap mine around the tree rather than hanging them vertically.

As for lights, can't help ya there, lol. We used multiple strands on our tree.
