This was my first round of Clomid (50mg CD 5-9), and it was also the first time I have used the advanced digital OPKs. I have PCOS and I stopped using OPKs in the past because I would get several days of positive tests and this would happen a couple times in one month (super frustrating:wacko:). I have been anovulatory without the clomid, so this moth I used the tests on CD 13-21 and I got "low" on CD 13 and "high" results on all of the other days. Is this normal. I never got the solid smiley (positive), do you think I could have missed my peak between tests :?:?

I don't use the advanced OPKs but I do use the regular digital OPK and the cheapies. I am on my second cycle with using Clomid. I too was getting various lh surges when I wasn't even ovulating before starting clomid. Since the Clomid is working for me I have only been getting lh surges right before ovulation. I am also on the 5-9 protocol. I started using my ICs on day 11 and used the digital to confirm when I got a positive with the IC. I didn't ovulate until CD 19 my first cycle, I have ovulated yet this cycle. I also read many stories from women who ovulate way late on Clomid. How many times a day are you testing? If you are only testing once you could have possible missed your surge. If you have a suspected ovulation date you can ask your doc for a 7dpo progesterone draw to confirm ovulation.

Sorry I can't be of more help! I have read so many women complaining about the advanced digital OPK that I decided not to even try it and stick with the regular OPK. Good luck and I hope someone else can better answer your question.

I hope you are right and I just missed my surge! I really don't have any clue if/when I may have ovulated. If it doesn't work for me this month I will try to use multiple brands of OPKs next month. I have only been testing once a day with FMU as I can't test at work...I've heard it is better to use SMU, but the test says to do it first thing in the morning. I probably should just wait and be patient but it's SO HARD!!! My Dr. said we are doing a progesterone draw at CD35, but you said 7 DPO...does it have to be 7?
