Molly - he probably meant HCG injections aka Trigger Shots. A lot of women get these with Clomid to give the extra boost.

Ugh. I'm on 3rd cycle of clomid, and I am on CD15 and no mucus changes, no pangs, nothing .... so my doctor said we will give it till Monday and maybe something will change. I was hoping I would ovulate again this month but I guess it's not happening

Next month he said he will up it to 100mg clomid and a trigger shot.

I know another month isn't going to be bad .... we've been working with the doctor for almost two years now, so another month shouldn't be so depressing. But, it is.

Maybe it just means that I was meant to drink pretty alcoholic drinks next week on vacation .... but I'd rather be knocked up than able to drink

Crosby! - Get in bed now!!!! hahahaha!!! GL, its fantastic that you have a smiley and odd that you didnt get that even with the clomid. Although i have read stories of women ovulating after taking Clomid so you never know. It's not over til its over
J_Lynn- Im in the same boat as you. Clomid isnt doing anything atm, on the dosage i am on but will be looking at 100mgs and a trigger shot if my next 100mgs round fails as well. FX for us all, it can be hard to keep your chin up but we have to. As your signiture says- We WILL get a BFP in 2013!

Well im in Australia- in Melbourne Victoria. Its freeeezing today! And i woke up with a killer sore throat and sinus issues and i will be at work today (Saturday). I work in retail in the insurance area and talking is 99.99% of my job, so i am totally looking forward to Sunday so i can relax for a day! lol. So that's my plans for the weekend. (BOOOORRRIIINNNGGG) What about the rest of you girlies?

It's freezing in south England today too, I have a builder coming in an hour to do the downstairs toilet (tiling) then I will be painting doors etc

I am off all weekend but will be still busy. Then my sister is coming to visit me next week for a week and that means intense shopping ))) looking forward to it

I am looking forward to next cycle - I didn't get a trigger shot this time around, my mucus cycle just didn't do anything to make the doctor want to give me one - so I am going au-natural this month. If the little changes mean anything, I am officially in my TWW starting today - so I will testing May 4th .... otherwise, next month hoping for good news with the 100mg + trigger

We spent the weekend in Chicago (Illinois, US) to celebrate our 1st anniversary which is today. Of course today marks an entire year of TTC with all the stops pulled out. 12 months of OPKs, BBT charting, trying different supplements, etc. *sigh*
BUT we had a great weekend. We are going to finish it off with breakfast at Ed Debevic's on the way out. It is a nice 50 styles burger joint where the staff gets lippy with you. Telling you stuff like 'if you don't like our food, get out' and you can talk crap to them too. All about the atmosphere and hubby is going to love it. He has never been there. Then we will start our 3 hour journey home and back to work tomorrow.

Well, so hard to come back to work on a Monday after a weekend away!

Today is CD12 for me, which is the day I am supposed to start using OPKs. I am a bit dehydrated this morning... there definitely was not enough water consumption this weekend, then add that Clomid bloat that seems to just love me... shew! So this morning, I had a bit of trouble with the OPK... so it may not be very accurate, BUT it did look like 'maybe' it could be trying to fade in. Not going to put too much hope into it, but we'll see tonight when I take another. I also had the pinches and twinges on my right ovary all last night and even a few this morning. This is what I started to feel like about 48 hours before I ovulated last cycle. It's just weird that it is once again my right ovary, that's where it was last month. It makes me a bit more paranoid that it could be a cyst instead. Of course, I know your ovaries don't always rotate ovulation duty every month. So I guess it could be feasible my right ovary is doing the job again this month. I have felt a little bit of pinching and twinges on my left ovary, but no where near like it is on my right.

Trying not to get my hopes all wrapped up in this... it's much easier to just keep thinking the Clomid is not going to work again. Then the disappointment won't be as huge as it will be if I have myself convinced it is working.

I am just not used to feeling my ovaries in general, let alone this early. Come on Clomid, work some magic! :haha;

Well, today's OPK looks like maybe it's getting darker again (I will probably post a pic in my journal). Today is day 19, so the last day of the window where Clomid 'should have worked.' However, if it is starting to get dark and I get a positive in the next 24 hours... I think I will still be happy that Clomid helped a little.

Our local Walmart had the ClearBlue Digital OPKs on clearance so I bought them out. hahaha Now I have 21 digital tests. Not the confusing advanced ones with the flashing smileys. These are just regular digital tests that indicate peak, so hoping I have more luck with them than the advanced ones. I only plan to use them when my Wondfos look like they are getting positive. This batch of Wondfos just haven't been as great as my last batch.

Hope everybody had a great weekend! I know this weekend was great for me. I got some much needed 'Mommy time' and she helped me to clear my head a bit. Love that woman! She is getting an extra special Mother's Day gift this year!!!

Aww I'm glad you had a great weekend...i'll check your OPK pic out...does your mama know that you are TTC? mine doesn't,i can't bring myself to tell her, but i feel as though she knows she's just waiting for me to tell her...

My Mom definitely knows. I need her to know, because sometimes she is the only one who can really talk me out of a slump and with this TTC journey there are a lot. My Mom is even the one who suggested that my sister would probably donate her eggs to me if my eggs weren't good. I am not sure why I never even thought about that. I have never had the day 3 test done to even check that sort of thing, so I am going to ask the OBGYN about it when I have my 7 dpo exam and blood work. If she won't do it, I am planning to ask for a referral to the RE anyhow. If my eggs are crap, we are pretty much just wasting time right now. So that would be good to know. Hard to hear, but good to know.

My OPKs looked the same as last night this morning. The digital test is still showing negative, but the cheapie Wondfo's are showing positive. Such a dilemma! I never have luck with the stupid digitals though, so I will probably go with the cheapies. Today is day 20... so that is earlier for me by about 5-6 days, but they say Clomid should work within 5-10 days of the last pill.

So confusing! Kind of hoping the OBGYN will monitor me via ultrasound next cycle! I think it would give me a better handle on what is going on.

Mummywant2be- I am on CD 26, I dont think I will get a BFP this round so I haven't been tracking my BBT religiously and so far have had neg preg tests Thanks though, I wish it WAS my ) Why havent you told your mum that you are TTC? Do you think she will try to interfere?
My mother knows we are trying, I am really lucky because she doesn't offer advice on the TTC just listens to me complain about how unfair it is.
Elpha- Good idea to stock up on the CB digis while they are on special, maaaan they are so expensive! Here is Aus they are! A pack with the test and 7 tests is $70 here. Sad!!!! I am using the internet cheapies for now. Next cycle if i get a dark cheapie I will use a digi then.

Anyway, I am still here waiting for AF. Not long to go now

Molly- I am sooooooo over those digital tests! They hate me! My cheapy tests were giving me a positive for the past 2 days and the digital never once did. Since the test line on my cheapy tests never gets quite as dark as the control line, but REALLY close... the digital test made me second guess my ovulation. Then guess what... my temp spikes this morning. So now I am kind of wishing I HADN'T stocked up on them!

Good news is that Clomid at least helped a little! Ovulation on day 20 is much better than ovulation on any day between day 25-28. I have never ovulated this early. Now let's hope that digi didn't screw everything up! We only got in Monday night and were planning again tonight. So last night would have been good too. I guess we shall see!

Success, ay least in my eyes. I had a 30 day cycle,instead of 42, and ovulated around CD16, better than the usual 21-28. So just having a pattern and strong OKs are great for me On CD 5 and 3 of clomid without noticeable side effects. I say som ages on the other profiles. Is anyone else's clocks ticking? If its going to happen, it has to be soon. Also working on acupuncture this round, but unsure when it should be done in a cycle or various cycles.
