Clomid trigger shot question

So my Dr did say the trigger shot with my clomid is HCG and "if you take a test in the next few days it'll be positive" but just how long is 'a few days'?

I had a thought back on 1dpo to take a test just to see what a BFP looks like but was talked out of it by a wonderful friend/bnb member.

I tested to see if mine was out last cycle. For me it was about 10 days after trigger.
But it can be different for different people and different cycles

Im currently 1-2 dpo and im testing every day since trigger. Getting strong positives obviously but il be testing every day until it leaves my system. I wanna know that when i finally test properly its a REAL Bfp, not a trigger one!

Did you do this in the end? Have you tested yet? Any luck? Id love to hear how you got on!xxx

I did test and they went pretty much bfn around thursday/Friday. Issue is friday I didn't see any line (at 10dpo) but everyone else did. we thought it might be the real bfp but tested this morning and BFN... so for me it appears to have taken until 10 dpo to exit my system

Took 13days for me
