So I had an automated phone call off Halifax saying a transaction of £159 has been attempted but declined. So I thought that's strange I've been in work since 6am so I've not used my card. So I went online to check my account and lo and behold 7 transactions over 2days, yesterday and today, totalling £100 to pay and go phone companies. That I did not make.
So mad someone has my card details and is using my hard earned money.
Halifax has credited my account with the £100 so I'm happy with that and they've cancelled my card. But I'm so mad that someone could do that I'm so careful with my card and details too. Just shows you can't be careful enough. X
