Nichole, seriously if you need help, pm me. If you have to wait 30 days to hear from the grievance department, that could be long enough for billing to send it to collections, which would suck balls. Amelia explained it pretty well, and I would involve your doctor/that nurse too. Be sure to document EVERYTHING you do. Get names, ID #'s, etc. of every single person you speak to. Create a paper trailMake it very clear that you are NOT paying that amount as that was NOT the amount represented to you initially, and that you would NOT have had the procedure had it not been for this representation.

Ok, I will do that tomorrow. I will contact my doctor as soon as I can. She is out until Monday. I tried to respond back to the e-mail the RN sent me but there is no reply option. I do still have the number send to me by the RN to call to set up the hsg appointment, should I call that and complain?
