Hi ladies...despite reading a few articles that say its normal, I am still freaking out due to 3 previous miscarriages. Is having extra CM in early pregnancy (5 weeks today) normal? Seems like its milky and whitish....

Yes very normal - i had it with my son but not with my MC and having it now so its obviously a good sign! :)

I'm 5 weeks exactly too & remember it in my pregnancy with my 1st pregnancy, keep running to the toilet as it feels so wet (sorry TMI!!). Perfectly normal! X

I've been having the same and I'm 5 weeks tomorrow. I'm so nervous of a miscarriage after an early loss last cycle, I haven't really noticed much CM at all since my latest BFP until today, and it felt so wet I was convinced it would be bleeding but it's just clear/white CM, finger crossed it's a good sign for us all!

I was concerned too as I had it a few days ago but it's gone now. Maybe it's the plug starting to form?

I actually posted this same topic about three weeks or so ago :flower: It seems to be quite normal. I alternated from dry to thick and back a bunch at first, but now it's sooo heavy! And that started around 6 weeks for me. I'd love to go back to the dry days! haha But I know it's a good sign, so I'll take it! And mine looked the same as yours at 5/6 weeks. Still pretty much does, but occasionally it's like what you get when you're ovulating.

In each of my pregnancies I have had it in abundance (to the point one time I thought I had wet myself) my first pregnancy it was the only symptom I actualy had and I had it right up till about 16 weeks.
I had it as well with my mc but that wasnt a typical mc (had a tear) so till that point it was a progressing pregnancy so I think its a pretty normal thing to have.

Ok, thanks everyone. You all have made me feel better! Although, I will likely still continue to worry because it seems like that's all I do these days

You will still worry when your child is 20 odd, its in our nature and a sign of a good mother :)

I have a lot of that now and I am approaching 10 weeks soon!! Just going with the flow (pun intended)
