Hello everyone! I've been TTC#1 for 10 months now. I had 8 anovulatory cycles back to back. However, due to a lack of health insurance, I wasn't able to go to the doctor. In June, I got my first big girl job that included health benefits, saw my doctor, and got prescribed Metformin 1000 mg and now 1500 mg.
I have read that Metformin doesn't necessarily mean you will O every month. So, I want to make sure I am, to give DH and I a chance at actually making a tiny. I really do not want to get Clomid or anything like it.
A friend of mine had been trying to get preggo for 6 years with PCOS and one tube. She'd been through failed IVF and IUI attempts. However, Metformin 1500 mg, PreSeed, and OvaBoost got her a BFP within 3 months. She's expecting a beautiful baby boy in December.
Have any of you heard any stories about how well these work? The websites sounded darn convincing. Any information would be appreciated
