Contraceptives??

Just popping over, hope you don't mind.
I don't like the thought of pills and injections and such because of everything they can do to your body and mess you up and such.

I was thinking of trying the natural family planning method. Ironic name really. It's the only way approved by the Roman Catholic Church to not fall pregnant. You basically figure out when you are most fertile/ovulating and avoid sex during this time.

There are two methods:
The lactational amenorrhoea method - which can be used the first six months after giving birth. Providing you are breastfeeding and your periods have not returned, if used correctly only 1 in 200 women fall pregnant.
Methods based on fertility awareness - planning sex around fertile periods. If used correctly it is 98% affective.

NHS site - https://www.nhs.uk/conditions/natural-family-planning/Pages/Introduction.aspx
BBC health site - https://www.bbc.co.uk/health/physical_health/sexual_health/contr_natfamplan.shtml

What appeals to me is no side effects, you get to know your body, no nasty injections or anything and when the time comes for more children in the future it can easily be flipped around.
