Creative ideas please - how to tell the old dear!!!

I've just seen another thread posted about being jealous of pregnant women.. I'm sure if the poster reads this it could be very upsetting, maybe she already has

My prayers are with you lovely ladies ttc... I pray for a precious bfp for every one of you soon! x

If you aren't allowed to have posts like this in the TTC forum after you have succeeded in TTC, then why are the banners allowing in people's signatures saying "I'm this far along in my pregnancy"? That's tougher for me to see than a simple announcement.

The announcement is more like giving hope that some day I'll have an announcement. LIke, look, this person has been trying this long and they are on the same journey as me and they finally just got their BFP.

The banners are almost rubbing it in those who are still TTC's faces. Like, "I know this is a forum for those who still haven't got their BFP, but I'll still come back here with my big pregnant self, and post about TTC."

That may just be my opinion on this, but whatever. I'm allowed to post it.

And another opinion of mine? That poem is absolutely adorable. Everybody who is TTC is hoping for a BFP and that poem would be a perfect way to announce it to family.

Totally agree about the banners being upsetting, thats why I choose to stay in the preggo forums mainly and just stalk ttc but sometimes I do see something that I feel I want to post on.

I've not said anything to try to offend anyone at all, thats not my intention.
I know people have their own opinion and of course are entitled to them.

I was just saying it seems like one rule for one and one for another and I don't like that. (regarding the thread I was talking about in my first post)

Sorry to cause so much contraversy!

Like someone has said this isnt a thread about me announcing my BFP, I was merely asking for ideas as I know all of you have thought about how you would announce it but I also understand how it can upset people!

thank you everyone for your lovely comments, I wont mention how it went here as I dont want to offend anyone so I will update my journal within the next 30 mins so you can see there
