So I told my employer 10 weeks ago that I am pregnant. I am a testing engineer and asked if I am ok to keep testing. It has taken until today for them to do anything about it. Turns out no I'm not ok to do it. Most damage will occur between 2 and 9 weeks. I am now 15 weeks. Well that is just great. Luckily I have not been on site much so probably all ok. They have still not even done me a risk assessment.
Their reasoning? Most people don't tell anyone till 12 weeks. Oh that is ok then, you are only 3 weeks late with doing something, not 10!
