CSA...

So I got a letter from CSA today, since we've had the DNA test results back and everything. I wasn't expecting to be entitled to anything. But the letter says 'because Mr. FOB is considered a child'. Considered a child?! Where did this come from? He's 19 and not in full-time education so I don't really understand how they came to this decision

Apparently he signs on, I don't think children are allowed to sign on are they?!? It's all too confusing. Shall I appeal or something? Can't find anything on there website

If he is old enough to have sex, and produce a child he certainly isnt a child himself!

Thats a ridiculous thing to say about a 19 year old.
I was 19 when i was pregnant and definately not a child.
Thats weird for CSA to come up with that

I rang them, and they sent me the wrong letter apparently There not sure whats gone on, but none of the DNA test results or anything was on my records

The womans ringing me back, she was just as confused as me, and says I 'should' be entitled to £5 a week. Still don't understand how they reckon he's considered a child lol

Yeah he is definatly 19.

The CSA were just as confused as me. Reckons it's something to do with the computers, yeah blame it on technology to cover your idiotic back Still not entitled to anything though due to his circumstances
