I love the first pictures i have of me and my little man, they are totally different from the first pictures with my girls, much more clinical, but they still lift my soul a little every time i see them

Csections are rarely what we want but it doesn't take away the magic of birthing our new little people.

I didn't get any mine was an emcs so it was a little rushed to get there and oh didn't think about bringing the camera. Our first pics are back on the ward xx

I'm so jealous!

Had an EMCS, and as there was meconium in the water and LO was shown signs of distress, as soon as they removed her, lowered the curtains for me to take a peek, she was whisked away to be suction and checked while they stitched me up!

OH got to hold her first, then me when they were done with me.

I didn't get any either - also because I had an emergency section. Although my partner got a great one of himself and Beau!! lol. I love it though

Aw such lovely pics! Mine was an EMCS too so no pics for me either, even until the next day in my case because they numbed me too much and my left arm was completely numb too and I couldnt hold her. Was fun watching df's petrified face when he was handed her though with a look of "oh my god this is really happening, I'm really a dad" lol

I didn't get to hold my LO for about 4 hours after she was born.

My twins were born at 29+5. They were handed to OH for a quick cuddle and then off to the NICU. I didn't get to hold them until they were almost 24 hours old, but I do still love my c-sec pictures.
