Cycle 3 started, anyone wanna be buddies?

Hi ladies!

Thanks for your good vibes! :hugs:

Today I had a blood test done and came out positive too.... I wanted to tell you that I´m feeling a bit worried since I´ve been having cramps ever since O as if AF was about to arrive, Im hoping they will go away but they haven´t.... I don´t remember if I told you girls about this, but I had a mc at 7 weeks back in November (it was an anembryonic preg) so I have to admit i´m feeling kind of scared....

I really need your words of wisdom girls!!! DH is so happy and all he can say is everything will turn out alright, and maybe it will, but for now I feel this weight of being completely responsible of what may happen...

How have you been feeling Ecarroll? Have your aches gone away???

Kath, so if you already O its very likely that you may get your bfp this month!!! are you planning on testing soon???

Universa, NJZ how´s everything???

Sending lots of hugs!:hugs:

A lot of women actually report having light cramps at the start of the pregnancy!! Lots of hugs your way, please do not worry, you would not be responsible for anything. Just do what you can and relax (I know, easier said than done!!) Fingers crossed that cramps calm down soon and you can enjoy the pregnancy!!
I feel light pangs from time to time.. That's all.. I try to limit what I do, don't lift anything heavy, keep warm, rest more.. Hoping this sticks!
Have you been to the doctor?
:hugs::hugs::hugs:

Hey Hun I'm sure everything will be fine - thats what u have to keep thinking, positive attitude now missy :) u owe it the the baby in ur belly :) if u remain positive and relax as much as u can, then if anything does go wrong (which it won't!) then u can say u did all u can. Look back now and think wow those 6mths actually went quick cos now I'm here with my bfp - so this can go quick too! I'm sure all the worry will be out of the way within time. I've never been pregnant but as far as I know, sometimes ita perfectly ok to have cramps, ur body is going through a lot!! As long as u keep in tune with it, and get help if/when u feel u need to - dont ever be afraid to ask questions. Me personally, I would be going to the docs for anything I felt out of the ordinary - i don't feel that u can be too careful - especially for ur own piece of mind, u have to look out for urself ya know :)

I'm 6dpo today apparently, my temp has gone down to my cover line - I already feel like I'm out. I'm still unwell so I keep thinking hmm is this nausea still from my virus or am I pregnant? Lol I can't help but wonder. This morning when I saw my temp isn't rising, I thought well I must be out or I mustn't have ovulated. If I haven't O'd then I think we ain't gonna catch now as we've cooled off the bd'ing cos we're both unwell now :-(

I can't help but already think about next cycle. I think I might do a cycle without temping or anything, have a little break now that I've reached past 6mths :-( xx

Hi Kath,
I am not able to see your chart, but if you have a sustained temperature shift you have definitely ovulated! Fingers crossed that the nausea is due to a BFP!! My mom got flu-like symptoms before she found out she was PG with me! It is possible! :)

Hiya Hun, here's my chart

My Ovulation Chart

It's just going down, and I'm assuming will go down 2moro :-( I dunno how reliable my temps are due to my illness, but I don't want to kid myself. I've had some shooting pains in my side today, so in torn between thinking 'could be', and thinking 'look at ur chart for god sake it doesn't look good!'

Xx

Yes, it does look strange! If it shoots back up, then you definitely ovulated? Have you done a progesterone blood test before? The illness would definitely impact your temperature! When I had fever post ovulation, my temps dipped and stayed there for 2 days. Then they went back up again. I would say you would have a better picture over the following few days, or after a blood test. I'd say don't rule out the possibility of your body having geared up for ovulation and ovulating again, so don't stop BD-ing just in case x :hugs:

Well we haven't bd'd for a while cos we're poorly :-( I won't be having a blood test or anything as they don't tend to do anything over here in the uk until u've been ttc for over a year :-/ I would just like to get this illness and cycle over with now and start a fresh next month. I think I'll take a break from temping and checking and just see what happens. Xx

Hi Kath,

I am also in the UK. Please ask your GP for a day 21 blood test (checks for the level of progesterone). Failing that, please change your GP. My new GP is great, she arranged for all the bloods I needed, without even asked to do so: day 21, other hormone tests, rubella immunity etc. We pay a very high national insurance in this country and must expect a top level of service. Please demand it x

OMG u mean I can actually get stuff like that? My first gp was rude/horrible when first ttc when I didn't have a period at first, so I went to a different one, who was loads nicer, took bloods (all clear) did an examination (said I had enlarged uterus but otherwise fine) sent me for an ultrasound (all fine) and did say that she wouldn't look into doing anything else until I've gone passed 6mths, soooo I'm thinking if/when af shows up if dont get my bfp, maybe I'll go back and see what she suggests perhaps. I'd rather get the ball rolling now I've passed 6mths rather than wait a year, and I do feel she'll be willing to help - well we'll see!!

Yeah my temps gone up to the same as day before yesterday, so I'm hoping they continue to rise and then hopefully yesterday's was a 6dpo implantation dip?? Haha I'm hopeful!!!!

How are u getting on? Have u told friends and family yet?? Xx

Oh yes, absolutely, if for some reason this month hasn't worked out, you absolutely should go back to her, get referral to a fertility specialist, ask for Clomid to shorten your pre-ovulation phase, take the charts with you, showing your cycles, and that you have been actively trying to get pg. Have you tried Vitex? Fertilaid? Pregnacare? We pay so much for healthcare in this country and get so little, and are pushed around like muppets. A person needs to be dying to get proper attention, and even then people die of neglect in the NHS. We should absolutely demand good quality health care. It is just not fair on some people!
I have a feeling things have worked out for you this cycle tho!! :hugs: Fingers crossed!!! Did you do enough BD-ing around your ovulation? We covered almost all days, and around ovulation we BD'ed twice a day.. and it worked, in spite of DF's low sperm count. I drank copious amounts of grapefruit juice to help with my fertile cervical mucus, until 2 days before ovulation. And DF took a shitload of supplements... Has your OH got checked out? a sperm analysis is usually £100.. it is definitely worth it tho! In 30% of all cases, the reason is the male. There are enough supplements and treatments out there to help with that. x :hugs:

Yeah we get dismissed far too easily!! I've just been taking folic acid, any doc I've spoken to just said not to take anything else, but I've been eyeing up pregnacare. My fiancé hasn't been checked yet, I think I'll broach the subject once I've seen the doc again. I don't want to leave it too late. A friend of mine took 8 years & 3 rounds of Ivf until she had her little boy - I'm not saying it would happen to me but I want to do all I can as early as I can for this to happen for us. I was worried about the amount we bd'd but we did every other day, then 2 days straight after o, I had no idea I was O'ing really. I'm meant to have O'd on cd20, a week earlier than last cycle, so I wasn't expecting it. I've stalked a LOT of ff charts lol and seen so many ppl got pregnant and hasn't bd'd as much as me or as close to o as I did, so that cheered me up - i did have a moment where I thought omg we didn't bd enough, but I suppose it does only take one time as long as its the right time :) I'm just impatiently waiting to test now lol xx

Hey lovely ladies

Hope your all doing ok! Well, the :witch: got me this morning, right on time! My temps had been dropping so I knew it was coming but there's always that hope in the back of your mind, you know? I decided to hold off testing until I was 'late' as I didn't want to see the bfn so didn't get to use one!
So here's starting cycle 4 and a May bfp! xx

Aw :-( well at least it was on time I suppose! I'm 7dpo and waiting to test :-/ I don't have sore boobs as much as I did last cycle, and my cm for the last few days has been creamy for the first time in 6mths since coming off bcp!! Xx

I am feeling OK. No nausea.. sometimes I forget I am pregnant as I don;t feel that different. Just some pressure down there.. I am more conscious of things btw. Went out with colleagues last night for dinner and main course choices for me were limited to 1.. lol.. the only one that had no alcohol in the sauce!! :))

Aww, that's good - maybe you'll get away lightly with the symptoms. Must seem strange to know that you are pregnant but not 'feel' any different - I guess you kinda always assume that once you know your pregnant you'll somehow feel different?

Af is giving me horrible cramps :growlmad: I felt so positive at the beginning of ttw, today has put me on a real downer but hey ho, there are many women in the same position as me and I've just gotta look forward to more 'practising'
