Hey SMandel22 - and everyone here - looks like I am joining this group. Thanks for putting this together.
I am 36, going into 5th month ttc for #1. Thought I had it this past month and was 3 days late (first time I have been late in many, many years). Temp even went up this AM. Started spotting yesterday and really hoped it was decidual but, alas, it's real. "They" say give it another month or two then see specialist due to our age (God that makes me feel old.) Was really down last night but it's only been 4 months and in reality that is not long.
A nice big glass of wine tonight will be my reward for enduring, then off to the races again!
Last month was the first month I used bbt and opk so I am going to try that again. I have tried bding every other day, every day etc. Not really going to worry about that anymore. If we feel like it great (last month that still turned into every day..)
I usually ovulate around CD 14-16 and have a luteal of 12-13 (this past month ov cd 16 and had 14 day luteal)
For the past 4 months (of course, just in time for ttc) I stopped getting EWCM and stopped spotting during ovulation. I had seemed very fertile until I needed to be.
That's probably all you ever wanted to know about me! How 'bout you?
Nooooooooooo!!!!! I had such high hopes for you!!!!! You're right, 4 months isn't terrible. It's frustrating, but you're still young! (Don't listen to "them".) It's scary, they say your age could be a factor and I'm only a few years younger than you, so if it makes you feel any better, I'm feeling old now too!!
I was feeling really down the past few days too. I know it was only my first month TTC, but I would of sworn I had timed everything perfectly! Got a pos OPK and all!
It sounds like your cycles are very much the same, so I really look forward to sharing this next month with you and every time I hope for a BFP for myself, I'll hope for you too!
