Day 3 or Day 5 transfer.. what did you have done and was it a success?

The title says it all. I have to decide on day 3 or 5 transfer and was wondering for those of you who have done ivf/icsi which you had, how many transferred and what the outcome was, bfp, bfn, 1 babe or more?

Tomorrow is my day 3 and Wednesday my day 5.. I am waiting for the decision to come down the pipe from my fertility team. Praying for a day 5 because I've heard the chances are higher when the embryo has become a blastocyst. From the massive reading Ive done online, both 3 and 5 days are successful! Kelly - We are on the exact same schedule!!!!!!!!!!!! When are you transferring, do you know yet? I still don't know!

I don't know they told me my embies are all great so I can chose and I just can't make up my mind! It's driving me crazy, if they'll give me two blasts to transfer come day 5 I'll do that but right now they're giving me a hard time wanting 2 cause of my age. So if thats a no go I'll likely be transferring 2 8 cells tomorrow. It all depends on how the phone call tomorrow goes.

I had a day 5 transfer but neither were at proper blast stage and neither was great quality either.

However both took which proves you don't need super duper grade A blasts for it to work
