Jasmine has been eating less at night and seeming more hungry in the day. I was feeding her 4-5oz every 4 hours and that was working good. Now in the day she has started draining the 5oz most of the time, and seeming hungry faster again... And at night she is still going the whole 4 hours and only eating 4oz.

At what point did your LO start transitioning to sleeping longer at night and feeding more in the day?? What were your day feeds like etc?

I know she will make her own routine etc... But just wondering if there are ways to start gradually getting more night time sleep eventually.

Hannah's schedule is still all over the place. She gets up to eat at least once a night, she just can't seem to get enough down her during the day to drop that feed (either that or she gets too distracted during the day to want to eat!)

I was very lucky, I fed on demand and Erin set her own routine. She has never been a 4 hourly baby she always fed every 2 / 3 hours. At about 6 weeks Erin started to have only 1 feed in the night. I fed her at 10.30pm, she woke at 4.00am and then slept till 8.00am. Then at 10 weeks she started sleeping through the night. She was having 5oz feeds every 3 hours in the day, went to bed at 9.30pm and slept through till 8.30am. She is now 18 weeks and still does the same but now takes 6oz every 3 hours in the day.

But I wouldn't go by that as every baby is different and they will set their own sleep / feed patterns. I was a nightmare baby and I didn't sleep through the night till I was about 1, so I'm guess I'm just lucky with Erin!! xx
