Looking for some ideas on how to deal with my toddler at nap and bed times. I recently took away her dummy as she started wanting it constantly, day and night (she previously only had it to sleep) and it was causing me toddler tantrums all day long. She's 22 months now, her 6 month old brother doesn't have a dummy, she's not teething and I think it's time to give it up. I let her throw away the dummies herself and she did it happily but now she will not go to bed. I try to prepare her with reading, she brushes her teeth, helps me feed the cat and collects up her favourite teddies ect but nothing makes a difference. I've tried sitting in with her but it makes her more determined to get back out again, I can't take her out because she's so tired she's miserable. So do I just leave her and let her fall asleep eventually? I feel awful

TIA for any suggestions.
